The Future of ANTM After Cycle 2

Now that the competition is rolling to a close, an inevitable question arises - What is the future of ANTM after Cycle 2?

Interest in seeing a Cycle 3 has been expressed by members publicly and I have received PMs in regards to this issue as well. While this is exciting news, I do not know how the moderators feel about allowing another cycle, or if any other doll photography contests will take its place. Since ANTM was a specially created forum, another cycle would no doubt need approval.

Either way, my point here is to say that I will be unable to host another cycle even if it does meet approval. As much as I love hosting, two cycles back to back have burnt me out. However, if another cycle is approved, someone else is more than welcome to host it in my place.

If a third cycle is not approved, there are always other options to keep the ANTM spirit alive - challenges open to all members in the regular Monster High forum, etc. In fact, I think something like that would be quite fun regardless of whether or not a next cycle is approved. It would certainly help to get even more members involved!

Is Icecrystalline's Next Top Doll going to be resumed since it was cancelled because of the conflict of ANTM? I can't believe we are at the end!!!

I think Icey said she would be unable to run the Next Top Doll and I don't think anyone's stepped up to take it over.

I do hope someone wants to run Cycle 3 (if approved) I think I've improved a good deal lately.

I have loved watching this cycle of ANTM. The judges have done a fantastic job. Thank you so much for making the other 2 cycles. I would love to see another cycle if it's possible. I even bought my Spectra with hope of participating in another cycle.

No, Sadly I will not be hosting either as I posted on a thread a few months back. I am too busy with personal commitments and especially A Levels. My studies are too important to let anything take over right now, I need the best grades humanely possible to get into uni!

Don't be disappointed though. If another cycle is approved, I'm sure *somebody* would be in a position to host! And if not, I'd be happy to create little challenges for all members to participate in. How awesome would it be if we got twenty entries a challenge? Or thirty? Or forty?!

Tuney, antm has been so much fun to follow. You did a wondeful job. You can tell you put your heart and soul into it. Even if no one steps up to the plate to do a round 3, I would love it if people kept up similar photo threads asking for shots. I was seriously thinking of just purchasing a bait doll for competing. ;p Thanks again!

If no one steps up to host a third round, then a series of stand-alone mini challenges would be a great substitute. Thanks Tuney for all your hard work. It's been interesting watching the contest as it progresses.
