Please Tell Me About the Dead Tired Dolls!
« on: September 25, 2012, 08:54:00 AM »
Are any of these dolls still available in stores?  I have never seen them except the ones that come with playsets (Clawdeen and Lagoona) at TRU.  I am starting to really like some of them and would like to know how hard they are to find/buy and how much they usually go for.  Educate me please!

They're actually called Dead Tired and I've only seen Lagoona's hydration chamber at the TRU near me. Amazon has a bunch of them for sale for $13-$32. It depends which one you want. Cleo is the most expensive one and Ghoulia is the cheapest. The sets are much more expensive than the single dolls, $30+. I'm sure Ebay has some for sale too.

The dolls, individually, are some of the less expensive ones on eBay, depending on who you want. I think there's a wave with Clawdeen, Draculaura(?) and Abbey out right now that's still in stores.

Their faceups are GORGEOUS in my opinion, and the ones I've bought have also had really nice hair with no glue inside of their heads. They are by far my favorite line. <3333

I've seen my Fred Meyer (or kroger brand store) restock with a whole "bunch" of them a few days ago, they're a year old I think, so I'm assuming they're getting rid of old stock before the new stuff comes in. I saw Ghoulia, Cleo and Draculaura, not the new ones, which has a different Draculaura, Clawdeen, and Abbey.

My work just got a bunch of them in. One of my local Kohl's had some a little while back, too. I think I saw them at King Soopers over the weekend as well. So yeah, they're still out there, just well-hidden.

The wave one set with Frankie, Draculaura [in PJ's], Cleo, and Ghoulia were at my Books-A-Million not too long ago. The new wave [with the new Clawdeen, Draculaura in a night-gown, and Abbey] I've seen at Dollar General, JCPenney's, Khols, and other retailers [but not the major ones like Wal-Mart/Target/KMart/TRU]

I have never seen any of them anywhere.  My Kohls has horrible stock and we don't have Kroger, Fred Meyer, Dollar General or King Soopers here.  I don't even think that our JCPenney has a toy section here.  What are they retailing at right now in the stores that have them?  I am especially interested in Cleo.

I managed to find the 2nd wave at Shopko across the river today!  I picked up Draculaura and Abbey.  I still would love Cleo though.  They had the wave 3 fashion packs there, of course no Cleo outfit though...only one they didn't have.

Our local Fred Meyers has them.  I've seen Ghoulia, Frankie, Clawdeen, and Draculaura.  I'm in Northern Oregon.

While Clawdeen and Lagoona are the most expensive of the first set on account of the playsets they come with, I would have to highly recommend them. They are both exquisite:

Like a month ago I got Draculaura and Clawdeen ver 2.

I prefer them both mush better than they ver 1, the Clawdeen face is adorable and the fact is that I don't like most of her versions but wit her DT ver 2 I noticed the reason, is that most of her dolls have deep purple eyeshadow or lips and I don't like that color on her face.

The ver2 has a beautiful natural earth colors on her face.

Would anyone stateside be willing to pick me up a Frankie and/or a Cleo?  If you are, PM me.  I did find the new wave at Shopko but I haven't seen the first wave and that was the very first time I have ever seen the Dead Tired dolls at all.  I may have to check and see if JCPenny even still has toys at our location to see if they have any but we don't have any of the other stores like Meijers or Dollar General here.  I have been checking my Kohl's and they have not had them either.

I've only seen them at TRU once... Mostly Ghoulias and Draculauras, and I think ONE Frankie. (they had a Cleo too >_< Passed her up figuring they'd be common...) They usually have a few Hydration Stations these days.

Walmart had a lot of Ghoulias late spring/early summer but they haven't shown up since then. (Now all they have is a big ol' mess of Ghouls Rule dolls and CAM sets  :P)

Haven't tried Target recently but I've never seen them at all. Just more Skull Shores Ghoulias than anyone would know what to do with.
