Less than a week until the new TMNT!!!!!

  So excited!!!  I hope it is good.

They'd better treat my Donatello right! Already two strikes against him by giving him that tooth gap and the voice of my least fav turtle from the original show (Raphael). But hopefully I can get over it quickly so it won't affect my enjoyment too much. Sometimes he sounds dead on 80's Raph and others not so much. It'll be better if he changes the voice a bit once he's more comfortable with him.

I just about died of bliss when they worked a couple (short) Japanese phrases into one of the clips I saw. Even if Leo should have a better accent considering it's Splinter's first language (and therefore probably his first as well).  Ugh, I'm such a TMNT and Japanese language geek ;

I saw the new toys in Target the other day and had to pick up Mikey, then I had to go get some pizza (no joke! LOL) I want to see this show so bad, but alas I don't have cable.  I hope Nick puts the episodes online like do with their other shows.
My fave characters are Mikey, Splinter and Casey Jones. I had a big time crush on the guy who played Casey in the first movie. 
My only thing is in the new show Splinter's face looks like a badger. Black and white fur? What's wrong with just plain brown like he was in the first show? I thought gray Splinter was weird too.
The gap in Donnie's tooth does look weird. So does the strange crack on the front of Raph's shell. Were they just trying to have more distinguishing characteristics? Like the mask colors aren't distinguishing enough? LOL In some of the original comics they were all red.

Geeking out over the new TMNT reboot, too! Have caught some clips online and it looks pretty decent.

Ren-Ren, I hear ya about Donatello, although Raphael was my favorite on the original show, LOL. Also a fan of his voice actor, Rob Paulsen, so I might be a bit biased.

Have seen the toys as well and have been tempted to buy some (but haven't yet!). When I was a kid, I had a good bit of the original toys. They often wound up rescuing my ponies and Maple Town families from Shredder and co.

I'm sooo psyched!!!  I'm probably one of the few that actually likes Donatello's tooth gap.  It gives him character, in my personal opinion   Plus, OMG Rob Paulsen!!!!  I mean, when I heard he was back with TMNT, I nearly fainted.  Just having a former Turtle back makes me giggle like a kid again.  As for the toys...oooooomg I LOVE them!  I just had to get the turtles, and I got the giant Donny lol.  Trying to decide if I want those talking Turtles, but...I dunno, I'm not a huge fan of talking toys haha.  I really need to start up my collection of old Turtle figures again.  Last one I got was the "detective" Donatello toy   He's my favourite!
Have you guys found those special collectors' toys?  They are AWESOME!  I was completely surprised at how articulate they are :O  Here's a pic of Donny lol

I'm a mikey fan and always have been lol. Really no complaints although I do think Mikey sounds really really really young in this series. But, I'm happy to see them back. The movie in the making though, is a different story.

I didn't know that TMNT was coming back on! That's awesome! I'll have to check and see if I can DVR it. Donatello is my favorite!

Other than Splinter's past, I'm LOVING it!  It was a good first episode, in my personal opinion.  Can't wait to see more tomorrow!!!

So there IS an episode tonight?! LOVE my hubby for catching it and setting it up on the DVR. Thought the premeire was tomorrow.

GRRR, what's with all the clips I watched saying 9/29 if it starts tonight?! Seriously I would have been SO mad if my hubby hadn't noticed the listing on the DVR. *pout pout*
