Monster High retail price
« on: September 18, 2012, 11:13:20 AM »
Hey everyone.  So I just moved to the states, and I have had little luck finding Monster High dolls in the stores.  I did get Rochelle yesterday, and I think she was $20.  In Australia they are around $27, but I was always under the impression that they were a lot cheaper here.  I was just wondering what the retail prices are like.  I may try tracking them down online, but I don't want to overpay by too much.

The ones I need are most of the CAMs, Cupid, the twins, the Howleen set, Gil (I know I have no chance of finding him in store atm, but I'd still like to know), Robecca and Venus.

The small-boxed ones like SS and Roller Maze are usually $15-17 and the large boxes with single dolls are $23 ($25 at TRU). Large packs with 2 dolls are $30 and have a tendency to be lower quality. Coffin Bean Set with just Clawdeen is $30 as well.

thanks, Yurusumaji.  Is that about roughly what the CAMs are.  I bought the skeleton for $11 with free shipping on Amazon, I am hoping that was a good deal :)

Twins retail for £30 here. Howleen set also £30, and Gil was originally £11.99 but as you probably already know, he is no longer in stores....

:) Werecats are readily available here. x

Yep!
I paid £30 for my twins, and got Howleen set in a trade which was very worthwhile so thankfully I didn't pay out £60! XD

There seem to be a lot of everything at my local Target- (at least if you check in the morning)  but they are not cheap.

I don't remember exactly- but I know the Fairy Tale and Gouls Rule dolls were about $25 and the Howleen/Clawdeen set like $30.

Not sure about the Add-Ons but the Starters go for $20-ish around here.  Hope that helps a little:)

I've never seen a signature doll for over $20 (well except at TRU which is always overpriced). They generally stay in the $18-19 range where I shop. The 1600 and Ghouls Rule dolls were a bit more.

I'm so jealous. The smallbox ones are €22,- here... :| that's the $25 range. Argh!

Oh America... your stores are so close, but so far! Canadians pay around $30 for the signature releases, and $20 for the smaller box ghouls. Things like 1600 are $30 plus :(

Nothing is worse than the swedish prices...

30usd for the small singles like SS

42usd for singels

53usd for the fancier ones like Sweet1600 and GR

We don't get any exclusives or multipacks so i cant say them but they would be expensive

Wrong - Norwegian prices are even worse! Found Rochelle today - $61 USD! I guess even with customs and shipping, it's better to buy them online.

I'm just wondering, how are your prices on milk and gas and stuff?  Is it just toys that are crazy expensive, or is everything marked up so drastically?

Canadian TRU retails Sig dolls and CAM starter packs for 29.99.  The single packs like Skull Shores and the Rollerderby girls are 19.99, as are the CAM add-ons.  I haven't paid attention to the other prices on playsets with dolls or the plush girls or anything like that...
