I thought that in the new Swim line that will come out with Scaris and Dance Class, do you think that the dolls that haven't got a swim version will be in that one? Like Venus, Robecca, Spectra, Operetta and Rochelle? I hope at least some of these will get that because I'm not going WOHOO over another swimsuit Frankie/Clawdeen/Cleo/Lala/Ghoulia/Abbey

I was thinking that too. I'm tired of them using the same characters OVER and OVER. 

Especially with the swimsuit series it buggers me. Swimsuits are so small pieces of clothing so it hard to do anything really special with them. In the regular lines they can make all the new clothes interesting and cool, but swimsuits.. not really...

I have only bought one Swimsuit doll, SS lagoona, and I bought her nude and dressed her in her fashionpack instead because I really dislike the swimsuit lines

I'm like you, I can't stand the swimsuit lines. Only real "bonus" to them is that they are a little bit cheaper. I bought SS Lagoona and Abbey so I can buy some clothes off Etsy at some point and dress them up in something more than a simple swimsuit. That's the only thing I like about the swimsuit lines, they give me dolls I can dress up and not feel bad about it because I don't like their stock clothes.

I actually don't mind the swimsuit lines. I wish I was around when the Gloom Beach was around. I wish I could have gotten some of them in their singles. But I'm with you, it would be great to have some of the new characters in their swim suits

The only swimsuit doll I bought was SS Frankie and she was going for $5 at walmart, so grabbed her because of the price, but yeah, if it's the same characters for each beach line, I can see it getting annoying. >,<; Thinking about it now, if Venus was in the next swimsuit line, would she have a whole head of hair this time?

My only swimsuit doll is Gloom Beach Lala. I got her around christmas 2010 and back then I was so hyped about getting her. But now.. I'm with you, another main character line with swinsuits don't do much for me :/

Ughhhhhh, I have the first two books in paperback, but can't find three or four anywhere. And because it doesn't have a date I can't safely preorder that.. bawwww.

I buy all my books in paperback (it's a mental thing.  I THINK it saves space that way.) and 3 and 4 are not available in paperback yet.  3 will be coming out early Oct.  Still have a way to go for 4:(

I traded some signed prints of my photos for her. I never thought I'd actually get her. I'm quite excited. I don't like Hoodude at all, though, so I'm going to see if I can trade him for Gil. If not, I'll just sell him.

I find him to be a rather disturbing doll, not just in appearance (he wears a jacket but not pants?!) but in concept as well (Frankie made him, so doesn't that make her his mom?). After reading his diary, I think he's pretty lame as a character as well.
