Meet Ali!  She's a lati yellow head on an obitsu body. My GRAIL is to get her a tinytaur body.

She is super gorgeous <3 Great job .
I want to get myself a tiny delf body in normal skin, and a lati head to go with my centaur body. I have my Hansel on it of course, but I have legs for her so she would still have a body without the centaur body . I hate the idea of loose heads floating about the place so this is good.

I never posted my nice photos of my Jun Planning Ai's new faceup. These are from back in November. Darjeeling Aesthetics did her faceup.

Ai bodies are just awful so she needs an Obitsu, and the stock eyes are terrible too so she needs new eyes as well. I might try hot glue sueding her in the meantime, but I don't know how well that works with ABS dolls or dolls so tiny using a normal glue gun. But I'm getting quite desperate.

Hehe, I'm happy because she's a double jointed body. I some reason didn't know that. But she poses like a dream compared to kicky Lilah over there. (I'm still too chicken and lazy to restring, but ehhh).

Also...I think I somehow picked out the only other BBB/RS doll with human ears!

crazykimochi - I agree, I wish I could do my own faceups, but I also wish I could sew HALF as well as you can, lol!  I'm lucky enough to have friends that do faceups and clothes, so my poor dolls aren't left out in the cold, but I envy all you guys that can do that yourselves. 

I need more sewing practice!  hahaha

I've seen photos on Flickr (and I think a couple of people on DoA as well) who have put their BBB heads on MNF bodies - they've all looked pretty good to me!



I've finally started looking for good places for doll photos in my new place - I used to use the garden, but now that I'm in a loft I need to start learning to work with indoor lighting.  I'm not quite there (look how orange this is!) but I'll figure it out (I hope!):

Indoor lighting can be very tricky. I don't feel like I can get many good photos of my dolls where I am now, because even with good amounts of natural light the light is never where I want it to be. I will be a whole new learning curve once I move, too.

I just went to my local doll meet Saturday so I have new photos to show off my girls! I also got a very nice Canon Rebel camera for Xmas so it was fun to get to play with it a little bit there.
