Noob Who Just Bought His First Doll

Hi Everyone,

My name is Monte. I bought my first Monster High doll this week, which is the first doll of any kind I have ever bought; I usually favor toys from "the boy aisle", although I did somehow manage in the late '80s to "man-up" enough to buy a She-Ra doll, though one could make the argument (and I no doubt vehemently would have at the time) that she was an action figure, rather than a doll.

I am between jobs at the moment and so I must be frugal, and as such I settled on a Skull Shores Ghoulia; I'd have preferred a more definitive version, but the beach dolls are cheap!

My primary hobby is toy photography, so I will probably loiter in the Monster High Pic Spam Thread most of the time.

EDIT:

I am so obsessed with these Monster High dolls that I apparently forgot for a moment that this entire forum isn't dedicated to Monster High, ha ha ha.

I have yet to be exposed to any form of My Little Pony media. That said, I am told that Friendship is Magic is a legitimately entertaining show, and so I will probably use my daughter as an excuse to watch it eventually.
