So I'm new to the forum!
I'm 18, female, from England.
I'm a student at the moment.
I'm a small time collector of g4 ponies only.
At the beginning of this year I discovered the FIM cartoon and immediately loved it! This led to me becoming interested in collecting merch from the show, more specifically merch and toys of canon characters from the show.
I started out with a fashion style Rainbow Dash and a couple of blind bags.
At the moment I have all canon character blind bags I could find in shops (the mane 6 from wave 3, the glittery mane 6 from wave 4 and the metallic Applejack, Rarity and Pinkie from wave 4, plus glittery Trixie and regular Big Macintosh and Golden Harvest who is a rather well known background pony in the show so I got her)
I have the mane 6 in regular size brushable form, plus Cheerilee and the Cutie Mark Crusaders from School Pals set, and Spike and Celestia from Royal Castle Friends set. I recently acquired the Wedding Castle Playset with Shining Armor and Princess Cadance and I use it as a display for my small brushables.
I also own all the mane 6 as Fashion Style ponies except the notoriously hard to find Applejack.
I have only imported one set from America, that's the Fashion Style Shining Armor and Princess Cadance set. I got them from eBay as I really wanted them, but I don't plan to buy more from abroad as its a bit stressful with shipping and customs charges etc.
The latter mentioned ponies are definitely my favourites though, I love them and plan to take them to University with me next month. I have a preference for Fashion Ponies and I hope one day I find Applejack!
I don't leave any of my ponies boxed, I'm not that kind of collector. I prefer to have them displayed on their own.
I'm jealous of a lot of awesome g4 stuff that is USA exclusive such as the Collectors Set which includes Nightmare Moon. I really want that!
Anyway ultimately I hope to collect all the canon characters seen in FIM that are released as g4 ponies although I probably won't achieve it, but I'm happy with my collection as its a display of my love for the show.
