I look at the MH want lists all the time, and always find stuff on peoples' lists, but I don't know if they don't have the money right now, or want to do trades only, or what!  Does anyone else find this difficult? I think it would help if someone posted "Money in hand" "trades only" or something like that.  I'd love to help out the collections more, but I don't want to pick up stuff willy-nilly and have piles of extras that I can't get rid of!

PM them and ask if you should pick it up for them, that's what I wait for people to do if I'm looking for something

The problem is that it's a 30 minute drive to the shops, and I'd have to PM them when I got there to let them know what's there, and if they don't get back to me in about 10 minutes, I'm done shopping.

Ah but you could always ask if they have the money know and then if you see the item in shop you can pick it up for them:)

That seems like it's a lot of people to PM and a lot of different lists to keep track of, unless you're choosy about who you're willing to look for.

I bought a CaM skeleton pack a few weeks ago and it has a soft head... guess it could just be old stock but I dunno.

Lucky!  I check their heads whenever I'm out but haven't seen a soft head for a long time!

I'm planning on getting a beginner's sewing machine and making custom clothes. Then the possibilities will be endless! Have you checked Etsy? I've seen some cute stuff on there.

I'm also planning on making clothes for mine once I stop working 60 hour weeks. The only thing I've made so far is a jean skirt!

And you know if it's on Tumblr, it must be true!

I tried saying this on Tumblr, but everyone ignored my reblog.

I have Simplicity #1955, and as far as I can tell, there are not different pieces for each different size.  In fact, I have no clue how you're even supposed to make the sizes, because I followed the directions exactly and ended up with Barbie sized clothes. Fortunately, these clothes were for my Pullip, but I would imagine that it would be more difficult to make the different sizes, otherwise. I guess you'd have to alter the patterns?

I tried making the leggings, and it wasn't like "use piece # for size small, use piece # for size medium" etc, it just said "use this piece"  and that was it....

So I'll post a link.  On this site, there's a photo of what looks like official artwork of Lala next to her Roadster.  I've never seen this before.  Think it's legit?  The hair doesn't look quite right....
