Bar soap update- Failure. Now my doll is worse -.- she has like... Dreadlocks XD

Bah! Did you brush it a lot? The OP says you have to brush it out a ton, I guess that's why!

I did brush it alot. I am using a ghoulia doll and it seems some of the blue also bled out of her hair  :shocked: I didn't expect that! Maybe the person that suggested this and said it works should have included what brand of bar soap they used?

I noticed that glue seepage can discolour hair... It's really odd.
Also hnnggg I need to motivate myself to actually pick something to buy from Etsy. There are so many things I want but I can't possibly buy them ALL... :(

I don't know how to post photos without upseting people.  I've never had anyone come at me about photos I've posted, and I don't want to start now ;)

So I'll post a link.  On this site, there's a photo of what looks like official artwork of Lala next to her Roadster.  I've never seen this before.  Think it's legit?  The hair doesn't look quite right....

http://monsterhighmania.blogspot.com/

I've seen that artwork. I agree with SunnieBunny, it's supposed to be for the roadster with doll for Christmas at JCP.

Wow it can discolor hair? But Mattel can say its 100% non toxic... A non toxic thing discoloring hair.. Dosen't sound true to me!  :blink:

My basic Frankie's was turning a tinge yellow before I rerooted it. ;/ Plus, it was awfully greasy..

And just reading about Ghoulia's hair, I boil-straightened my DT and shampooed/conditioned it and it still turned 'dreadlocky'.  I just planned to reroot her hair too but the plastic bit attached her neck snapped completely off. -.-;;

I don't think it got discolored but I cant say i've actually ever seen her without the glue in her hair... Im wondering if somehow the glue sucked some color out of her hair and when I washed some out maybe thats why her hair appeared to bleed? I've never seen it until last night  :throw: Well, so far we know that goof off 2 works and it lasts for months at a time! Maybe longer :D I'm sure its not too hard to find online ^.^

Got a package from Mattel today, containing their "peace offering" from my complaint with them about the Powder Room playset with Draculaura missing paint.  They replaced the entire playset (not just the vanity I had complained about) for free.  I told them in the email I sent, that the doll playsets were missing paint, and I'd have to buy a playset without the doll to be satisfied.  I was hoping they'd send me a basic playset, but they sent a whole other doll/playset.

Now I have two Powder Rooms I don't want, and two beautiful Lalas I've fallen for :cry:
I won't be checking this site anymore for messages.  If you need me, you can contact me at the MHArena :bigups:

Did the new set have the correct paint? Just curious, because I will be purchasing this doll + set eventually, and I am hoping they aren't all lacking  >_<

She is! I saw DDG Spectra today, and she is very pretty, but the sig version just has something about her.
