new ponys
« on: July 31, 2012, 05:55:23 AM »
Hi all.

Have not been here for a long time, but today I was in a 2.hand shop and there was two old ponys, really dirty and so - but they called my name,
so now I'm back. I don't know what ponys I found, I'm still a pony newbie.

One is blue and marked Hasbro 84 , has purple hair and a hopscotch square, then I got a mini pink, yellow hair marked "made in china" maybe it a "look alike " ?
3 red bow's marking.

Hi all.

Thanks for your answers.

I tryed to wash her in normal handsoap and a sponge, it did take a bit of the dirt, but some seams to be very much stuck on the body!

How to get if off without disturbing the patterns and eyes ? I*m sure its written here but could not find out where to look ???

Mr. Clean Magic Erasers are great for removing dirt off of ponies. Just be careful around eyes and symbols because they can get smudged if you rub too hard on them :)

Congrats on your finds, I love Hopscotch.  As to cleaning, here is a link to some guides - http://mlparena.com/mlp/index.php/topic,292336.0.html  And I do not think Mr. Clean Magic Easer is available in the UK, or at least it did not used to be.

Congrats on some great finds.  Baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) cleans without damaging paint.  :)

Congrats on your find! I also find that using a nail brush (which is like a stiff brush, you can get them in chemists and those sorts of shops) with soap is really helpful for ground in dirt. It's always been fine for me on symbols and eyes, but be careful just in case :)
