I finally broke down and bought Tales of Hearts R yesterday. I had a Gamestop giftcard that didn't even have time to burn a hole in my pocket.

They are free online games where you click to get cookies or ponies.  Very simple to play games, but addictive.

Ooh, let me know how Hearts R is!  I am dying for a Vita except I don't know what else I'd play on it! 

I am considering playing Borderlands with my boss.  I can use my leveled character to ease her into her new character's first steps.  But mostly I think I will have her play Ratchet & Clank, since it has basically all the elements she's looking for (explosions, weapons, loot) but isn't a FPS I can't play very well.

Replaying the Halo series. Finished 4 last night started Halo 3 today. Saving up the money and will be buying the special edition Halo Guardians XBOX one when it comes out in October.

Will do! There are actually a lot of really good J-RPGs on Vita. For instance, the Hyperdimension Neptunia series has been re-made and released on Vita -- and the remake is so much better than the original! I'm also playing Ragnarok Odyssey Ace on there, and it's better to play that game with other people online, but I don't know anyone else who plays it.

Borderlands is actually really good for a FPS. I don't play that genre often, either, but Borderlands is also an RPG, so that makes it more fun for me. And you'll definitely get better with practice. I used to be really bad at them, too. I'd be the person standing out there in the middle of the open trying to shoot enemies around me, but actually acting as a really easy target.

Dude. That's my bread and butter I've got Pokemon Puzzle Challenge on my 3DS that I've been playing since I've been stuck in bed sick. I wish they had included the Garbage! mode in Tetris Attack because that sure is fun.
