I've been thinking of restarting Harvest Moon: A New Beginning, though, since I didn't even make it all the way through my first spring before I forgot about it last time.

I did a trade-in last weekend and wound up picking this up. The only other HM title I played was on Gamecube (don't recall which one), but I didn't get into it all. Wanted to give the series another go, and A New Beginning seems promising, thus far. Hopefully moreso when I'm done with the first spring.

I've been playing the My Little Pony phone app A LOT lately.  Now that finals are over, I can finally sit down and crack open my animal crossing and pokemon games.

Close seconds would be Minecraft and The Sims.

My 65-year-old boss asked me today if I had ever played Assassin's Creed or Halo or God of War or anything, because she wants to play those, and maybe Call of Duty.  Oh, and could she come over to try them out before buying a gaming system.  O.o

LOL  Yeah, I'm working on it guys.    Those aren't the kinds of games I tend to play so I am buying a few to try out.  She's never played a video game in her life and she's concerned she won't be any good or won't be able to even figure out the controls, but she insists she doesn't want to play any "boring" games to learn, lol!

And she is adamant she does not want to play any games against anyone else, because she doesn't want to be beaten!  She just wants to "kill lots of stuff and loot the corpses after."

EDIT:  She says she would be thrilled to play GTA.  I think I am supposed to go with her to buy and set up a PS4 this weekend.  Will keep you updated.

Was thinking the same thing! I think Skyrim might be better because I feel they made it more welcoming to new Elder Scrolls players.
