Greetings to all of you!

So hi there! I heard about this site from a good friend who's recently been hanging around here lately, Dragonbait, and I thought while I was looking at this place, I may as well sign up on the fun!

Now as you can probably tell, I came into the community of My Little Pony through the latest generation, Friendship Is Magic. Now being born in 1996 means that I didn't grow up with some of the older generations in like, 1984 (?) so I don't know too much about the original series/toys that sparked it all off. Nevertheless, I am here to meet some new friends, find out more information about the older series as I am curious and want to be part of the wider community, not just FiM, and to hopefully have some fun! 

If you want to know more about my background story here I go:
- I'm a web guy and a gamer, so sunlight does not bode well on my skin 
- I'm a Forum Moderator/Community Officer on another pony website
- I came across ponies on May 26th 2011 by clicking a PMV on a video I was watching, you know, like just because I was curious, and was hooked straight away
- I draw ponies very often, all in the new generation design as, like I said, I need to learn more about G1-G3
- I can attend meetups usually as far as Manchester and Nottingham
- I live in Stoke-On-Trent and are eager to see if anyone else here does!

Yes I did, I also drew the one in my signature, although I made the Rarity vector from a screenshot of the actual show because I couldn't find one that shrunk to the size I needed...

I've heard about that one! Me and one of my other brony friends have been considering going to it!

Very cool art then, as to the UK Con, if you do, you shall get to learn a ton about G1 and G2 there as well as G3.  Loads of Nirvana's there as well.
