Lol! Ok I am all about "G1 art" but this is possibly the worst I have ever seen [across ALL pony gens]

None of these ponies have any necks! And the first picture sways from depressed Streaky to snotty Tootie Tails to smug Sea Breeze...weird

Someone needs to add a "SOON" to that picture of Sea Breeze

Oh, it hurts seeing some of my favourite charactes portraye this way-Pina colada was my second pony when I started recollecting and in my universe she's this super cool awesome spythiefthing. In this she's uh...an angry lion-thing? On some sort of illegal substance as well if she thinks she can teach PALM TREES to DANCE! Sea Breeze was my 100th pony and also has a special place in my heart. I'm now...terrified of her...

How much vodka was invovled in the creation of this book? Smirnoff should probably have a mention the acknowledgements

Thanks so much for posting this, it's fantastic! Most hilariously bad pony art I've ever seen - I love that the credit goes to the whole company, as though the individual illustrators working there all refused to be named on this thing; "It wasn't me, it was him!", "No way, I was mixing the cocktails, it was her!"

I can't wait to find out what happens next... Will Sailaway ever sail away? Will the palm trees ever learn to dance? Are the Rainbow Ponies intersted in cannabalism or an orgy?!

Hehe, that is a funny story.  I can only imagine way back when as a kid you would be like "Ok, sure" and just sort of accept that this book is weird. Now looking back and thinking that kids read this is pretty funny.

So, Raincurl (codename: Rainbow Cloud) leaves Streaky (codename: Rainbow Rider) to spy on the Tropical ponies, thus violating their pony civil rights, and surfs down the mountain to rendezvous with the OTHER two Rainbow Curl ponies, who ALSO have "Rainbow _____" names.  (I've got to be honest, I find this confusing.)

But WAIT, what's this?  Could the spy ponies be planning a double-cross?  Ringlet, Codename Rainbow Cloud, has spent all night farting rainbows in order to manipulate her pony pal!

Meanwhile, the Tropical ponies are giving a live performance of "Mutiny on the Bounty" when Wizard Must-have starts sneaking up on them.  Personally, if I saw a pony glowering like Sea Breeze / Surfing Days is, I would tiptoe the other way.

Lol! This is the most randomest children's book I have ever read!  Those ponies on the boat are looking at that creepy magician guy look like they're going to kill him or something! Just look at them! And the Rainbow ponies sound like they are spy cannibals! And since when can ponies make clouds randomly turn into radios when they wriggle their nose at them!?!? Lol, I can't wait to find out how this story ends!

Awesomest.  Pony book ever! 

What is up with the creepy Rainbow ponies just randomly spying on the Tropical ponies?  And the random magician who wants to steal the tropical ponies?  Plus the artwork is just. . .  The tropical ponies look sort of evil.  May heap that's why he wants them! 

Must admit, I do love the thought of ponies singing a sea shanty.

Shocking aren't they!? I also have the sister book to this one, Playschool Pantomime. Although the artwork is not quite as bad, but most of the ponies look like they have a bad case of acne!
