  Hi hi! I'm so bad at introductions, but I'll try!

I've been... well, lurking for a while and thought I should finally join! I've only gotten into collecting more recently, like within the last 2 years, due in equal parts to G4 and to the MLP forums I've been checking out. The enthusiasm around it is contagious I guess!

I have 54 ponies to my name at current, the bulk of them G4 but 4 of them are my 3 childhood ponies (Firefly and Baby Firefly),  and a wingless Wind Drifter I got from a garage sale long ago. The fourth is G1 Sundance my friend gave to me:D

But my first pony was Skydancer, who I got when my little sister was born. I was more excited about my pony than my new sibling! I wish I could find the rest... I used to have Princess Primrose and G1 Glory plush.

I'm.... admittedly not a fan of G3-G3.5, but I never owned any of G2 so my opinion on G2 ranges from "That's okay" to "ohmygoshWANT!"

I have to admit, I was very resistant to collecting the new toys because I didn't feel like they captured the style of the show very well (I felt like the way they molded the snouts made them look more like Tarsiers, and I still do, but it's grown on me!) but I'm a toy geek at heart and it feels good to be collecting something again, none of the other cartoons I'm watching are putting out good toys anyway. I'm a big fan of animation in general, but I sort of missed out on the original MLP shows growing up 'coz I watched boy cartoons instead. I'm mostly a tomboy who just really, really likes cute things though. 

So, yes, I'm introduced. Hi everyone!

I had to look up tarsiers to see what you meant... I know the G4 look takes some getting used to when you're used to the G1s.  They grow on you, tho, especially when you get going on the show.

Skydancer was such a pretty pegasus!   I hope you have wonderful luck finding your childhood ponies - either the originals or replacements.
