I got this little guy tied to the string of a sweet pockets pony, magic hat. Who is he?

Is it the rabbit that goes in the hat?  Each pocket pony had some sort of charm that fits inside its pocket...Bubblefish has a fish, the flower one has a bee I think, Magic hat would have a rabbit and so on.

Edit:  Odd, maybe not...Bunny Hop's charm is plain pink.  Maybe someone used him as a replacement for the original.  Here is a link, this is the pony you are talking about, yes?

I dunno. I've never seen him before. My guess would be some parent/kid added him to Bunny Hop because the original bunny was lost.

Well yes Obviously the original was lost and this guy replaced the bunny. But I'm wondering where this little sweetie actually came from as he's not from the mlp line <3

You probably can get some answers if you put him up on ghost of the doll. I'm guessing there are no distinguishible markings on it either? Doesn't look like a 'lil litter, maybe kinder surprise item?
