Someone got a sneaky bargain...
« on: June 08, 2012, 02:41:47 AM »
This pony was originally listed as an auction yesterday for 75p. It was then withdrawn and re-listed as a BIN for £6.

Linky

I was just too late to bid on it, guess the buyer was stalking her so no-one one else nabbed her! She doesn't look in amazing condition but for £6 I would've grabbed her. :(

Yeah selling My Little Pony on ebay sucks. People begging me to immediately sell my ponies as BINs is rampant. Often some sort of fib attached to it, like it's a gift or a sob story.

ebay has just become a mad house of late. everything's an overpriced BIN! the only thing it's reliably good for is snapping up an instant gratification.

True. Ebay just wants to become a big store and forget about the auctions. I guess with the economy in the pot things were only selling for opening bids which hurts their pocket just as much as ours.

Oy, I know what you mean. I had someone say they needed a big lot of ponies to give as a gift to a friend and wanted to know if they could BIN for $40. And they said they need an answer quick or they would look at other BINs. I told her no since it had over 15 watchers and it ended up selling for $120 I think. Glad I said no!

I saw her, she was on my watch list and noticed the listing had ended.  She was originally listed for 0.99p, in my ended items watch list it said it had been relisted, so I clicked on the relisted item and saw she already sold on a £6 BIN!

to be honset I dont think the seller is at fault they had no idea of the value (hence the BIN) and they still did the right thing relisting on ebay with a BIN, if anything its the person that asked for the buy now that cheated the seller

Lucky buyer! I think both the seller and buyer are at fault here, you're not supposed to ask for an item to be relisted, it is wrong, but I also feel the seller shouldn't have agreed.
Still never mind, lucky buyer and congrats to them :) x
