I'm so, so sorry for you!  That's awful (pony hugs).  My cat once went to town on my G2s... but nothing like this!  I hope you feel better soon!

Aww, sorry to hear that. it does happen sometimes that very well behaved doggies do this to us and I´m glad you didn't overreact on her :)
As you see, there are still people interested in them so don't fret too much

Oh thats a shame...my dog ate an ipod when he was younger - so I know the pain! We love those dogs but sometimes they are naughty and then we still love them anyway! And I guess by the time you got home it was too late for her to be in trouble for something she wouldnt have understood as it was too long ago for her to associate getting into trouble with her crime!

As others have said yes it will devalue them but it will depend on the amount of damage - you could always post pictures with damage description and ask for pcs if that helps! I remember the ponies you had - there are plenty lots of people would be interested in...I am still drooling over that Paradise baby!
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

This, totally. Anything of value should be kept well out of the way of pets/children, even the best behaved dog/cat/child/meerkat is capable of damaging objects if they are temptingly set before them! My dog is impeccably trained but I still don't leave anything that I don't want chewed around.

omg, thats sooo bad :( Im so sorry for you!!
My parents dog does things like that pretty often. Around easter he literally ate most part of a present I had for my dad :/ (it was a DVD... he crushed it to pieces and ate most of them :( ) I guess some dogs kinda do that :/

Yup - this is why I got rid of all my winged flutters.  =/  My little sister came into my room years ago and snapped all the wings trying to play with the 'pretties'.  (They were up high on a shelf too!!!)  And two weeks ago, my year old two found my MIB flutter Wingsong and decided he wanted to play with her and tried to open her.  Needless to say, if it's MOC, MIB, or fragile, it doesn't stay in my house for long.  :(  I really do understand your pain though!

My suggestion would be to post pictures of the ponies that were damaged and we can help you better from there.  Some ponies, if common enough, wouldn't lose major value if opened depending on the package.  But others might.  So post those picts and we can better advise you.  ^-^

I'd be interested in buying, even if the packaging was really damaged. There's still a minty G1 in there!

If you decide to sell, I might be interested in buying if the price is right.

OMG!! I'm so sorry for you!! It must be a totally shock when you come back home!!

Like the other said before - take pictures when you don't to keep them - I'm sure there are lots of people who will still like buying them.
Keep one special pony for you and take it out of the package - so you have also the Expirience of the feeling to opne a G1 pony.

And when you decide to sell a few - I may intersted to take 1 or 2 out of your hands. ;)
