Dog Chewed Up MOC's... What should I do? :c

Today, I came home from school to find an absolute mess in my room, bits of cardboard scattered everywhere! At first I thought it had come out of my garbage can, but no...
My dog had pulled over my box of MOC ponies that I recently obtained, and had gone to town chewing on them! Two of them have the tops of the cards completely chewed off, and a couple others have some lesser damage. I am so mad right now, I almost started crying! UGH.
My question is... What do I do with them? Obviously I can't sell them like this, and even I don't want a pony in a nearly destroyed package. Should I just de-card them? :c

i dont see any other option after beating the dog.(and i use the term loosly everyone does discipline in there own way)...you either trim the cards right down to the bubble pack or de-card them entirely

 I'd say the ones that are beyond damage could be opened, although there may be some interested...I'm not sure what sort of market there is for A sealed up pony. But if you wanted to, I don't think there would be any need to feel guilty about opening them up. Perhaps take some pics of the damage? some might not be so bad to collectors.

You can definately still sell them as is, especially if its just the package that's chewed and not the pony. Some of us who don't collect strictly mint mib ponies in mint packages would still be thrilled to find a pony in half a card and then brag about getting a pony in package.

At least the pony inside is intact.  I'm not a collector, but I would think that's what's important.

Also, I suggest training that dog.  I remember our dog was actually chewing on our house when we first got her (though she was a basket case when we first got her) and she needed to be pinned down a couple times to learn not to do it.

So sorry about that! I would be devastated, but at least the pony/ponies are ok! Don't be too terribly harsh with your dog since he/she may not remember what he/she has done and may be confused as to why it's being punished. Punishment works best minutes after the deed has been done so your dog understands what it did was wrong. Hours later, it might not remember.

And I think there are plenty of collectors who would want a pony with the backcard chewed up. They could open it up and have a pony in mint condition

Thanks guys, maybe I will try to get them to collectors who will appreciate them, or at least be able to open a g1 pony on their own.

I wasn't harsh with my dog, I think it must have been done in the morning right after I left for school. She is usually very well-trained, and has never EVER done anything like this before... :c My only guess is that maybe she smelled something on the box or cards.

First of all, please do not punish your dog! Yes, what she did is bad but if it happened a while ago she won't understand why you are punishing her. Dogs have to have immediate enforcement.
As for the ponies, if you intend to sell them price them accordingly and leave them as is. If you are keeping them, it really wouldn't hurt to open them. You'd have some very mint right off the card ponies!

If you want to open a G1, I'd say open one of the ones that are the worst off that contains a pony you'd like to keep. Its a really magical experience and this might be your best chance. And for the others, if you don't have any desire to open a G1 and/or don't want to keep them, I'd say try and sell them as is.

People WILL still want them as-is, though they certainly won't be worth what a MOC in good shape would be worth. :/ What a shame...
