My Introduction!

Hello,

My name is Katie and I am 24 years old. I live in Missouri and I love My Little Pony! I work at a College and I love what I do. I am married and my husband is so sweet! He listens to my extensive explanations and ramblings about My Little Pony and he never bats an eye when I add to my collection.

I have been collecting since I was 17. I actually bought a My Little Pony as a gift for a cousin but I loved it so much that I "accidentally" opened it an played with the ponies and the Surf Shop!

I collect all ponies. I love G1, G2, and G3. I have not collected any G4 ponies. I have nothing against them but they are not what I am interested in at this time. That being said, they are awfully cute and I am having a hard time resisting  .

I love ponies because they are all so different and unique. They each have a story and a personality.

I have about 155 ponies that range from plush, G1, G2, and mostly G3. I love all the generations so I collect them all. I collect for the joy of finding a new pony. I love to find them in flea markets because I like to restore them. I can make almost any pony beautiful. I even buy ponies that are not in the greatest shape because I think its a shame to leave them behind. I imagine that at one time they were a beautiful gift for someone and I hate to think they would never be loved again!

You have a pretty big herd.  I'm really interested to hear that you restore ponies, too.  I'm going to have to look into cleaning up some of my G1 gals, some of them have some slight staining from Surprise's and Ribbon's neon green hair  .  Any tricks or tips are welcome!

That's such a funny way to start collecting MLP, I've never heard of anything like it. You sound like quite a long time collector, you have so much ponies! You also sound like a very sweet person, so welcome aboard, arr!
