Avatar: Legend of Korra? *SPOILERS!!!* Ep. 10!

This cartoon is freaking amazing.  It's like steampunk meets Star Wars.  The characterizations and plot are SO mature for a children's program. 
 
Not to mention fantasizing about what you'd do if you were a bender provides hours of entertainment...
 
So, any other fans out there?

Yep, me! I've yet to see the latest episode but I'm so glad to see Avatar return. I do miss the old characters (especially Toph) but it's a very nice series so far~

I loved Avatar: The Last Airbender. I am enthralled to see the tradition of AWESOMENESS continued with The Legend of Korra!

I'm also very happy to see that Nickelodeon offers the episodes for online streaming.

Cheif Beifong is my favorite character so far, but just like the previous series, there are a whole lot of great ones!

I think I'm going to fall in love with Mako.  I had the biggest crush on Zuko, notwithstanding the fact that he was a cartoon character... and then I realized he was supposed to be 16, and felt like a complete cougar.

But I think my favourite character so far is Milo.  He looks EXACTLY like a Rugrat... and the whole drooling/picking his nose/fart-bending thing... he's so obnoxious and gross that he's hilarious.

Oh, and I love the 20s music for when Korra gets her a$$ kicked going through the airbending exercises.  Is it just me, or does she behave a bit more like you'd expect from a firebender than a Water Tribe girl?  Fire and earth seem to be her go-to elements in a scrap.

Totally! But the fact that her personality is so different from her element makes her so much cooler, in my opinion.


Oh and I personally really like Bolin so far, he's kind of like the new Sokka and Sokka was awesome as well, haha. He's so cute and funny, lovely addition to the crew if you ask me. :3

Loved Avatar: TLA and am really loving Korra too.  I can't wait to see what happens every week, and each week, my mind gets blown more and more! 

My favorite characters right now are Tenzin and Bolin.  Lin Bei Fong is growing on me too (Toph was my favorite character in TLA).

Hahaha!  Great description, and it seems like EVERYONE thinks TLA is that!

And I hated the casting for the movie!  I totally thought the Water Tribe was supposed to be, well, brown, and the firebenders were white or really pale-skinned Asians.  Colorblind casting would be fine though, if only for the fact that the only person who acted at all like their character was whoever was playing Iroh   Plus the actor who played Sokka was like cardboard... but maybe I can blame the scriptwriter for that.

I don't mind the movie that much. I had fun watching it in the cinema with a friend and my nephew. The costumes looked very nice, but I agree, it was nothing like the cartoon which really is a shame!
