Brazilian Love Melody (What to do?)... Already styled, what do you think?

Hi everypony!


A friend of mine found a wonderful G1 hidden home along with some other old toys and gave me her!
I know she's kind of rare, is that right?! She's a brazilian Love Melody.
But now I really don't know what to do... Should I restore her? Or she's not worth that?! I need your help, please!


So now for the pics and descriptions...
She has no major flaws just a scratch in one of the eyes, and a blue pen marking on one of her back legs. The blush looks to be good, and so the body painting. Do you think so? The hair is just terrible I think!

Now I would really apreciate some adivices from more experienced customizers and restores. Is she worth some work?
If yes, what should I do? What would be the perfect match for her hair?!

I think you should let her hair be, after all it's that fading pink/light pink un-faded. Washing, conditioning and combing her hair might straighten it out. Re-hairing her will lower her value as she actually have some decent hair, but for the current price I think someone else than me should value this beauty for you. Congrats on your pretty find!

Edit:
Also, store her in a place were there's no direct light. Her hair is light sensitive and might fade.

Wow, she's gorgeous!  And actually, she's in pretty darn good shape too.  I would just give her a super conditioner treatment and see how that helps, since her hair is a really beautiful shade of pink.  *so jelly*

Seriously, I wouldn't do anything other than a gentle bath and a light conditioning of her hair. She's in great shape otherwise! I wouldn't even worry about those light markings.

I say leave her be. She looks almost mint to me compared to some of the Brazilians I've seen. She hair is definitely not lost. Wash is with shampoo then condition it and let the conditioner sit. I would suggest several hours to 24 depending on your comfort. Then take a wide tooth, strong comb and start trying to brush out small sections a a time till you get the whole thing done. You might have to do it more than once but it really does work. I've done this with a few ponies with dreadlocks. Good luck and I would love to see pictures after you've worked on her.

Don't rehair her!!!!  She's got gorgous hair, and really it's workable, so don't take it away! 

She seems very lovely actually, I wouldn't do more than what others have mentioned - a gentle bath and a deep conditioner with a wide toothed comb.  If needed you can straighten her hair, but if you're wanting to sell her, her new owner might enjoy fixing up the girl with a new hair doo.  ^-^

I think the pics don't show the real condition of the hair... I can assure you that the hair is really terrible! Very very very dry... and a great part of it was trimmed in the top of the head! Should I still try conditioning it, even with the cut?

Congrats! I'd say just give her a wash and condition her hair well too, she's in amazing shape even with a hair cut
It also depends if you want to sell her - you will get a better price left as she is.

Ooh, she's so pretty and shiny! I say you leave her hair the way it is, but give her a nice spa treatment. I think if you just brush it out, it'll look flawless!

Are you sure the hair at the top is actually cut and not her forelock/bangs?

you might be able to do some conditioning on her hair to make it less frizzy
but it looks like a nice pink color

She's in beautiful condition.  All I would do is gently clean her up and do a deep condition and defrizz on her hair.  She'd look practically mint after that!

Brazilian hair is absolutely prone to frizzing, but is also super sensitive to heat so don't iron it Just condition her hair and comb it a little. She's probably still $100+ in that condition~
