I usually go to a couple of bootsales, and normally just find G3s.
The first bootsale we went to, we were nearly at the end and all I'd found was a G3 Rainbow Dash keyring. Then I saw this -

loginThe woman immediately said 50p ($0.80) so I paid and picked the box up. Didn't really have a chance to look in there properly until I got home. I knew there were some party cups and plates in there so for me that was a bargain.
I did notice the postage label, 1986, and thought that it must have been the original box the party supplies came in.

Anyway I emptied the box out - loads of stuff! All MIP apart from the crackers which sadly were pancaked
I managed to kind of get them back into shape and managed to look inside the worst one without damaging it, all that was inside was the rather fetching xmas hat you can see in the pic

I love MLP history and that box with the letter for me is a huge chunk of it!
The second bootsale I went to I found a medium plush Pinkie and the G3 dance school doodad -

loginThe party stuff was 50p, the keyring was 10p, Pinkie was 50p and the playset was £2 (Its just about the last G3 playset I need) so I spent a grand total of £2.60, that's just over $4.
