I have a mighty sweet tooth and loves me candy, but I never expect anything but the custom. I always try to send out a lil something that matches the theme of the swap. I also tend to doodle on the packaging that hints at what's to come. Builds up some suspense...

I have wondered in previous swap whether it was ok, to mislead my partner. Like saying "I got my bait 3.5 today!! I never liked these but I hope my partner loves it!!" Or "Hooray! The yarn hair is in!" Then having it not be a 3.5 with hair. I won't do it. But it's fun to think about.

I've wanted to do that too!    I wonder if it's aloud?  Or making someone think they're my real partner, but really, they aren't.

what do you expect to be in the extras/what do you suggest to include?
(like sweets, hand drawn sketches, official merchandise?)
also, are there sweets you dislike?

    I only expect a pony and a note and maybe a candy bar or a trinket. 
    I've only done 2 other swaps and the first swap I sent around $15 worth of extras and spent around $10 on the pony, plus a TON of time on her.  But, I forgot to send a note.  *Facepalm*  For the ponies on vacation swap, I sent around 5 or 6 bucks worth of extras, and spent $7 or so on the pony cuz I had a lot of the stuff on hand, and I remembered a note, and drew her a picture~! 
    In return on those two swaps, I got no extras in my first swap and was a bit disappointed, but the custom was a beauty, so I didn't really mind in the end; the second swap partner SPOILED me!  All things I either LOVED or hadn't tried before, and a couple things to keep that weren't sweets and an extra pony!  <3
    I love asian candies and foods, and I don't like chocolate to much.  Or gummy things.  I only like some locally made sour gummy bears that are super soft.  :3  I'm getting long winded...  >.>

I think I will be taking progress pix for this pony anyway. I think most of these ponies will warrant WIP pix anyway just because of their sculpting, etc. This one requires major disassembly and reposing. I can't wait to see it finished!

Treats for my cat, I cant do treats(any thing with sugar or high in carbs), defiantly drawings are nice too. any pony stuff as extras.
but most of all the main custom is # 1 part of the deal.

Hummm... For extras.
I'm fine with most candies. Not taffy, or anything like that though.
Although the summer heat (End of summer counts too) might be too much for some candy.
I'm good with chocolate, or things like that.
I like Doombunnies idea too. A little souvenir from where its from could be nice as well. Or stickers... or anything really, I'm not picky.

it´s really interesting to see how summer and winter is different for us as we are from all over the world.

after last years swap, i did a zombiepersona for puuush. i just uploaded pictures of her and in one minute, half of the pictures have been deleted. O.O
i feel bad, maybe i shall not work realistic anymore? what are your thoughts on that? is it okay to make creepy realistic zombies? ^^" or shall i add in more cute artificiality? ^^"

Aww, kinda shame that the pics were deleted, that custom was awesomely detailed. I would love to have a zombie custom of such detail of my own

Noooo!!! WHo wants a cute zombie? No one. You are a great artist, follow your instincts. Did  the mods delete them? Maybe make the title of your post say Zombie Pony (EXTREME GORE WARNING!)? If that still doesn't work, you could just have a post with a link to your own webpage with the pix posted?

Oh, I forgot to mention: this is my first time sculpting something like this so I'm sorry if the result is not the greatest. I do try my best though

If you have trouble with complaints you can also load the image with mature warnings attached, or spoiler folds when you post them places like here.  I can't imaging why a hosting site would refuse to support them.

Edit: Also halloween rocks! I just realized that my baby is due sometime oct. 31- nov 2nd.  So I may have to ship early or late depending on the deadline and when the little one decides to be born.  I will keep you updated when we get close to that time so we can keep an eye on how things are doing.  If possible I would really like to ship before the baby is born because I have no idea how long I will be mia after that. (current deadline should give plenty of time... as long as she carries full to term)
