Shove a flathead screwdriver inside their head and use the head to leverage them out.

Oh that's good to know!  I have a Sweet Pop I need to replace the eyes in, and wasn't sure how to get them out.  What's the best place to get the replacements?

There really isn't any source for proper replacement eyes other than another original pony, but some people have successfully used swarovski crystals to do customs.

Thank you Saja for posing this question - I too have wondered about this... since I'll be getting a manky Whizzer soon. So all these lovely pony people responding has helped me as well!

Thank you all so much

*As a side note (I do and often digress!) I've found size 29ss are a good size for BBE babies. Not too big, but a 28ss works well too - and try getting the AB coating on the Swarovski crystals, they truly look like twinkle eyes! Can post some pics tomorrow of the crystals if that will help...?  ^.^

I just boil the heads of mine until the plastic is nice and soft, then they just pop right out with enough pressure. :)

May I ask which way they pop out the easiest please? As in push in from the outside, in or (like the BBE babies) push up through her head, out to pop the gems. Many thanks! :D

WARNIING DIGRESSING IN PROGRESS!  :P

@Pinkamena As for twinkle eye gem sizes, 28-29 are harder to find than 30s (I think there is more of a colour range for 30s) but it works out to be around 6mm... interestingly *some* G1 babies have the same eye size as the G1 adults, so the gems could work for either size ponies!

The eyes are set inside a plastic casing so you would have to push them out from the inside of the head. ;)
