between cancer and regrind?

Regrind is when hasbro took two batches of plastic and melted them together and made ponies out of them. after time the plastic separates into it's two colors.

cancer is thought to be a mold that is caught in a pore of the pony.  sometimes it is inside the plastic and not on the surface, thus it is hard to get rid of.

regrind looks like this:

Cancer normally has a darker center with a lighter ring around that center if that helps

Aren't cancer/age spots also associated with leaking plasticizers? Which is why ponies that are prone to them like the big brothers and certain twinkle eyes end up hard and/or sticky? :/

I'm not sure about the leaking plasticizers causing cancer, but the ponies that get extremely hard and sticky are from the plasticizer problems.  Hasbro added plasticizer to help keep the ponies soft and squishy, and over time, certain ponies are prone to this "leaking" out and getting very hard...  =/  Not cool in my opinion.
