Fashion Style Lyra Heartstrings

Sold!

Hooray! I finally finished her! I lost track of how many hours went into this girl, but I couldn't be more pleased with the result.

Lyra is a G4 styling-sized pony customized from a FS Rarity bait. She has been painted with acrylics and sealed with Mod Podge, both the brush-on kind and the spray kind. Her mane and tail have been rerooted with Dollyhair's nylon hair in Daiquiri Ice and Snowflake.

Just like all fashion style ponies, she comes with a ton of accessories that have nothing to do with the show! Her necklace is made from glass pearls strung on silk cord with a 14kt gold-plated clasp. I hand-sewed her dress from white cotton, and of course she comes with her own little lyre. It has three copper strings, to match her Cutie Mark. ^_^

Talking about the eyes ... how come I don't see Rarity's eye shape underneath? How did you cover this? (I'm just being curious here :p)

Omg I love her!!! <3 I knew you were going to do a good job when you showed a pic of the cutie mark in this other thread, but I'm now fascinated by the final result! She almost reminds me of a Greek music goddess with her golden lyre and white "toga" :P but with the "fab" factor!

From reading the eBay post, I think Rarity's original shoes were painted, sealed, and pearl'd. I like them better this way than the factory ones. >.>

Squee! I love Lyra, and she looks great the way you turned her into an FS! :3 I love the accessories-she really looks like a legitimate item that could sell. :O (Also it's much higher quality than most of Hasbro's current line... ;P)
