Holy crow! THAT'S AMAZING! Lyra is probably my second favorite FIM pony after :muffin: Pony. But I don't know what's going wrong! I'm throwing my money at the screen as hard as I can and she's not at my house yet! Am I doing this wrong? :P :P :P

From reading the eBay post, I think Rarity's original shoes were painted, sealed, and pearl'd. I like them better this way than the factory ones. >.>
Yup! I used acetone to remove the paint details, then shaved off the original plastic gems from Rarity's shoes to make room for the pearls and painted them gold. The insides of the shoes are still pink, but that's so gold paint won't rub off onto Lyra's hooves over time. :D

It's a little tricky, but mostly I'm just glad I didn't have to sand down "angry unicorn eye" molds. Thank you!
