What would you do if...

... one day, you woke up in the morning to find that your ponies are alive?

That's right - your ponies are living! They're still small and plastic, but they're running around, flying if they've got wings, talking to each other, etc. - and they're talking to you!

What do you do?

I would ask the ponies I got secondhand what their lives were like before I bought them. I've always been curious as to who owned my G1s before I did, if they were played with, if they've gone on any "adventures" with kids, stuff like that.

... and then I would warn Firefly to not get herself in any trouble before I leave for school and make sure they won't leave my room

First, I would put my pinkie pies in a play pen and make sure they dont get out. Then I'll make sure the unicorns dont play any fancy tricks.
And make sure that the triplets dont get into mischief.
And ask Lady Flutter what she did at the collecters house before I ordered her on ebay! b/c shes my childhood one.

I'd have a bit of an issue if that happened to my ponies.  The G4s would be stuck in their boxes and I'm sure the G3s and G2s would work together to get them out. T_T

Or if whatever magic this is only works on those out of box, I'd have to make sure the cat or dog wouldn't chase them and that my family wouldn't freak out, then I'd have an ice cream party with them. :3

Oh how cute!  First, I would flip out.  Then I would ask if they liked they are happy here with me.  Then I would ask what else I could do to make then happier!!  It would be so much fun to brush their hair and have little chats:)  I'd also love to hear their 'stories' about their lives, what they have been through.

But yes, it would be a dream come true to have ponies come to life.  iSparkle...a talking winger in my hand would literally be a-maz-ing!

I love this.  I've always wondered the "backstories" of toys I've gotten secondhand. 
Your post reminds me of Toy Story, I think every kid imagines their favorite toys having a ball while they're away!

But more in theme of the post 1) I love the idea of asking them their own "backcard" story and where they are all from and 2) I would ask if in turn for some dwarf carrots, polo mints and tiny sugar cubes...would they kindly start dusting themselves!

Toy Story was actually what inspired me to post this question, lol!  I watched Toy Story and Toy Story 2 last night and my ponies were out on a table, and it got me thinking about what it would be like if ponies could run around and talk like that.

I think it would be amazing, I'd love it if it actually happened. xD I can just imagine them doing silly things like watching TV or trying to comb my hair with their little plastic combs while I'm surfing the web!

I'd be so, so happy. I'd ask Dashy (RD) who I carry everywhere with me which places she liked the most, and about the nurse who gave her to me.

And my Pinkie Pies, they'd definitely need some supervision.. I'd have to prevent them from terrorising my kitty.

I'm sure we'd all have such an amazing time.. pony party!

I'd ask my custom ponies if they like their new looks, and be terrified that they'd say no.  I love hathorcat's Idea too, asking them to brush themselves. That's brilliant!

I think I'd also get some craft paints, put them in little cups and let them finger paint. (hoof paint?) Or some other little fun activity we could all do. oh man just seeing them all run around would be so adorable! I can imagine braiding the SLH ponies hair so they don't trip over it when they play. oh god, cuteness overload.

I'd be fine with that so long as it didn't affect any of my other stuff; wouldn't fancy waking up to see Lion-O chasing Mumm-Ra around my bedroom! :shock:
