There was a post about using white paint to sunfade...and I think I recall another post where they used something to pull permanent marker out of the plastic? I need to search and see if I can find it...I know someone had some success with getting marker out...
Thank you all! I'll give sun fading a go then - I suppose I don't have anything to lose!
The paint was just to cover symbols while the rest of the body is faded (unless there was something else someone did with paint). Dry erase marker was suggested to remove other marker that was still on the surface and hadn't yet stained the plastic.
