Fashion style Ditzy Doo/ :muffin: Pony

Personally I think this is likely a modified Lily Blossom, and I have always viewed Lily Blossom as kind of a nod to the bronies without actually making a Pony toy. As someone who uses photoshop often, I don't think the bubbles are shopped on. They sit too well on the surface.


If nothing else, the body color is new, and I would say we can expect somepony of this color to be released whether it be Pony or Lily Blossom

So we finally can think of these suppliers of Taobao variants as customizers in their own right?  Except they are probably not compensating Hasbro appropriately for the materials. 

I don't agree. Not until we hear proof one way or another.

I have worked in assembly line type of jobs before, and so has my friend. We were speculating today that it's entirely possible these ponies (at least, some of them) showing up on Taobao could be mistakes or prototypes from the Hasbro factory. Not someone 'making' ponies like a customizer.

For example, the unipeg Flitterheart could have been a mistake, a unicorn head put on the pegasus body. 20 or so might have gone through the assembly line before someone noticed. In this kind of situation, a factory worker would just throw them all in a garbage bin without a second thought and move on. Here in the US I was on a strict time limit every second, in an assembly line. I can only imagine how much more strict it is in China. o.o Mistakes could just get thrown away all the time. And it might be easy for a worker to come in later and grab them out of the bin to sell for some money online.

Obviously that situation wouldn't explain all the variants coming from this site (like the G4 Minty). It's possible that the 'prototypes' just get chucked after some workers have done a few examples, and are grabbed from the bin then.

It's all speculation on my part--and everyone's--until someone comes out with some facts. But in my opinion I don't think we're seeing someone customizing anything to look like Pony.

That's were the people who really know her will be.

Maybe it's just me , but if parents would buy this Pony toy and notice the eyes are uneven...wouldn't they think it's a factory error or something? Pony doesn't really have a big presence in the show and all that.

I dont see why HB wouldnt make this officially...they are making that DJ pony after all...it has had less screen time than Ditzy...

Yeah but she will only be sold in a pack at one store chain.
She will likely hardly be sold outside America just like most of the previous target exclusive stuff. Making me feel that most of the really brony related stuff will have limited releases. Not saying they wouldn't make official Pony stuff. But i think they either make it limited to certain (brony/pony) events or make some adjustments to her if released normally (like her name).
