When I was a little girl I had a chef snoopy toy that I got from McDonalds, and that's what I wanted to be - chef snoopy lol. Then I wanted to be a ballerina or a writer (which I still want to be). I ended up working as a shop supervisor, still dreaming and writing stories though!

I had no desire to ever grow up. Being grown up did not look like any fun at all.

Until I was about 7 I wanted to be a marine biologist.  Then I wanted to be a vet...then my uncle inspired me to go out for graphic design when I was 12...and I stuck with that until my second year of college.  I'm still not sure what I'm going for now (law enforcement) is the right path for me, but we'll see. :P

Good to know I wasn't the only one who wanted to be an animal!  From about kindergarten to the end of sixth grade I wanted to be a dog. :redface: 
 Yes, it was pretty much until almost my second year of middle school that I realized I could never really be a dog.  Still kinda' dissapointed about that, but oh well...
At about the same time, I also aspired to be a scientist.  My main goal was to do three things: make Pokemon real, make my stuffed animals life-like robots, and turn myself into a dog.
...Since I'm still not all the way grown up, I'd say right now I pretty much want to be a freelance journalist and artist/ book illustrator.

Well, up until my initial encounter with a computer, I wanted to be a scientist. After the initial encounter, I still wanted to be a scientist, but I wanted to be a computer scientist. I got what I want somewhat. I still do research on computers on my own in my spare time, even though my day job is officially listed as System Administrator.

What? I always thought boys were way better than girls (they got cooler toys, they were better at sports, and they had awesome names. At least, that's what I thought)

A race car driver...and in all honesty I still want to be one...and I am refusing to give up the dream....I ll get that call from McLaren one day asking me to test out as a driver I know I will!

In reality I work in advertising as a senior Campaign Manager - I never dreamt of getting into advertising, marketing or strategy as a kid - just kind of fell into the industry!

Veterenarian --> RSPCA Inspector --> Illustrator --> Teacher --- RSPCA Inspector

I have a degree in Illustration, going on to train to be a teacher but I think in my heart of hearts I want to be an RSCPA inspector....I should have listened to my 5 year old self!

First job I wanted to do was "medecin du monde" which you could trasnlate into "doctor of the world" which is a cool kind of doctor that goes to places where people have no hospital, no docs and sometimes (most of the time) not even water!
As I am terrible at mathematics, I was soon be told to give up on this idea, so I wanted to become a vet. This failed too and for the same reasons!

Then came the tough moment where I had to choose my path: sciences, litterature or economics. I choose litterature and discovered that I loved languages. After studying some chinese I just went to China where I still am and became a teacher.
I recently told my students that when I was young I wanted to be a doctor to help people, and now, being a teacher I feel I'm helping them ... so my goal is still good!

If I could restart everything I guess I'd study to become a vet assistant (no math needed) and have a completely different life, go to a small french suburub, save money to buy a farm and live among animals :p
