I'm not really into EQG, but if they made Pony, Berry Punch, Bon Bon, or Lyra, I would pick it up. I've only gotten the Pinkies so far for my wife's collection.

I don't care for them at all. I bought 2 for my daughter for her birthday last summer and she got 1 for Christmas from someone else. She has the deluxe Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash and then the Cheap Rarity with the molded outfit. While I prefer the deluxe dolls with the better outfits and articulation, I just can't get into them. I also collect MH and EAH and they are so much more detailed and better quality. I won't be getting any EG for myself unless they come with a pony and then the doll will probably go to my daughter, although she'll want the pony too so it's not really a win win :/

I wasn't fond of the first releases.  I think the Rainbow Rocks line (and the ones shown at the Toy Fair) look better but I don't know if I like them enough to actually buy one.

There's nothing to resist. They are dolls. I find dolls creepy. The end.

Both of us are of the same opinion, so they'll never be setting foot in our house!

So far, I have only ended up getting my three favorite characters Fluttershy (deluxe), Rainbow Dash (deluxe) and Applejack.  I still want Celestia but haven't wanted to spend the money on her.  I almost bought her when Kmart had them but when I got there and saw them the dolls were missing their bodies...just some floating heads

This! Except I do have one of each available to me in the UK. Two twilight if you consider that I have the one with the pony and the Sunset Shimmer one.

They are still in the boxes though, and I don't think they will ever come out now

I can resist them just fine. I don't like that they are kind of overpowering ponies at the moment.  So I figure I won't buy them out of support.

I realise now I have three Twilight as I have the rainbow rocks talking one
And I just bought Rarity and pony - twice so I could have one in the box and a pony out the box (may sell the doll though)

I have a few, but I only got them because I could get them at cost. Their lack of articulation and overall design just doesn't impress me much. I dunno, maybe I've been spoiled too much by Monster High dolls. I got my girls before Christmas and the poor things are still sitting in their boxes in my closet, waiting to be opened.

I was lured into buying my first EQGs by the doll and pony sets and thereby realized oh hey, these are actually pretty neat with regards to the dolls. I'd probably have more of them, as a matter of fact, but they just don't compel my wallet like pony-ponies do. Especially not with those price tags, heh.

As much as I hate to support the dolls that are seemingly overtaking the ponies, I just can't pass up anything Photo Finish after how long I've anxiously awaited her in any sort of toy form. I'm probably also going to end up with Octavia because I want that brushable. And if that doll next to Photo Finish at the fair actually does end up being a G4 Ivy, well then she's coming home with me too because I'd love for her to get enough support that she gets a brushable later on...

And someone close to me plans on getting the Zecora for me as a "gift" because he really likes her but doesn't collect MLP stuff, so he just wants to see her on my display shelf.

So despite not liking them all that much as a whole, I will be ending up with a couple. Oh well, they're a part of the MLP line and have actual hair, so I can deal.
