Do you want all of the ponies or just the ones you like?

In an ideal world I would just love to have every pony ever made, that'd be my dream. I know that will never happen, so I collect what I can and what I like, and have certain types of ponies that I just don't want to collect at all like the Beddy eye babies ( no offense to anyone intended there, they just really are not for me ) and right now I don't want any of the so-softs because there are enough regular non soft ponies to keep me busy collecting already- I'd rather concentrate on those first. I would like to complete at least a few sets and work my way up from there ^_^ x

I have just recently become obsessed with plushies. I kind of want one of each character that is made. I am going tomorrow to see if build a bear has any Spikes left because I gotta have him!

I'm a completionist and want all of the G1s US and UK.  I am also a Nirvana and MOC collector.  I also want all the G2s. 

G3 I have almost all of them because I bought them as they came out.  My attachment to them is not as strong and if I needed to downsize I would start there .  G4 I'm not sold on.  I have all of the brushables and exclusives.  I've given up on blind bags and don't like the Funko ponies so that part of my collection is mostly complete.

I want all the characters. I only collect G4. I genuinely have liked all the ponies until a few recent ones I've kinda been questioning myself whether I'm just getting them to fill the space. A few of the mini figures mostly, I wouldn't say I dislike them, but they aren't really my favorites either.  I might start getting pickier soon. I recently let go of my FS Shining Armor despite my desire to have all the FS pony characters because I just didn't really like him being the same mold as the girls. I might be letting go of a few mini figures soon too. I know Hasbro has is trying to start to put more characters from the show and popular background ponies and such into the toyline but I think it's not necessarily making for the cutest pony toys.

Ideally, I would like every pony I can get my mitts on, yes. Sooner or later, I probably will run out of practical space for them, oops. But until then, it's gonna be a fun ride.

I get the ones I like.

And the ones that fit into my collection.

I look at them and think about their names, poses, colours and what I could do with them / what other ponies I can put with them.

Loner ponies aren't nice - they have to fit in!

Even my bait ponies have a Hospital they live in.
