Dragon Age Origins - Morrigan Pony

Morrigan is my favorite female character in Dragon Age Origins.  I've cosplayed her, and even joke with a friend that she's my "spirit animal".  This girl is my first custom, and I've been working on her for a few months.  I finally finished Morrigan (and Flemeth's Grimoire) last night.

I used a Twilight Sparkle body, since Morrigan is a mage so she needed to be a unicorn.  Sculpting was done with Apoxie Sculpt, her hair is DH Black Magick and Deadly Nightshade (which I found hilarious given the character).  I have a lot of experience with painting in acrylics, but still a lot of firsts here.  I was terrified of the eyes, because Morrigan needed sultry eyes and I didn't know how I'd make it work, but I did.

Flemeth's Grimoire turned out a bit less impressive.... The paint keeps scratching off from pretty much nothing.  The cover turned out pretty, though.  The inner colors were chosen to match (sort of) Casandra's Seeker Tome from Dragon Age 2...

It's soooo nice to see the lovely lady that you've been working on for months :) She turned out lovely, and great job on the sculpting, I've yet to try doing that lol :P

I really like her sultry eyes! And I never would've dared trying sculpting on a firstie. You're brave and she looks great!

It's sort of a relief to be done with her!  She was kinda practice because I want to do the same character with a G1, but wanted to make sure my confidence was there. 
The sculpting was minor, but I have some experience making Sculpy jewelry, so the Apoxie Sculpt was actually super easy to do (and it was just building up her jewelry and belts)

I was afraid my silly fan-girling would be lost  :lol:  I normally use "Swooping is bad..." as my phrase just about everywhere (but here).
I'm glad you like her, too!  My friend is actually the one that wants to make the Alistair for me.  He LOVES Morrigan and loves the pony, so he wanted me to have an Alistair to go with her (I totally ship it...  :lol:)


And thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, everyone,  for all of the compliments on her eyes and hair!  I was so nervous about the eyes (and doing eye make-up without an airbrush)!  And I cheated and the feathers are just lightly tucked into the twists in her bun.  I couldn't figure out how to make the shoulder-armor piece on a pony, so I needed feathers where I could fit them  :)
