I wish the actual soda companies would make syrups. My bro has one and the Mountain Dew style soda is close but not quite the same.

I bought my husband one two years ago and we use it daily. It saves SO much hassle over the aluminum cans. Plus, I agree with everyone on the sparkling water + fruit juice idea. I was never a big soda drinker, but I love to make fizzy juice drinks. Yum!

I really want one.  I drink a LOT of soda and I really need to cut down on the cans.  Way too much back-and-forth to the recycle center.

I had no idea these were that old.
My nephew got one for christmas and my sister ended up exploding it all over the kitchen when she started pumping away at the carbonator thing. It was nuts!
Two more little devils jumped over the wall.
Saying turn her out father, she'll murder us all.
To my fal-de-ral little law-day.

There were soda streams in the 80's?  Didn't know that!  :P

I love ours.  It saves money (and cans) since my hubby drinks a LOT of diet coke.  I like to just drink the carbonated water or make fizzy mint water in the summer (I grow mint and soak it in water and it's so yummy).  It's interesting enough that I actually drink it, but no extra calories.

Yep they were around in the 80's here too. I remember drinking them at my auntys place when I was about 7 yrs old. I'm not a big soda fan but those sparkling juices sound nice. I need to get the hang of my breadmaker first :P
