Custom Playsets

There was a beautifully done custom playset I saw a few months back on the other arena.  I believe it was made out of a show stable...  Can't for the life of me remember what it was though.  The artist did a fabulous job - it looked factory made!  I think she even made new stickers for it.  ^-^

I made this back in 2005 (when I started customizing )
It was for a contest on the german pony board.
Sadly it did'nt survived while I moved but it was fun creating it - it was not really a huge or good playset BUT it's selfmade and not a customized old MLP playset  =)

I'd called it Surfi's Island (Surfi is the german name for Tropical Sea Breeze =))

I've seen another dream castle as a spooky themed one.
I customised a plastic stable (an 'I Love Ponies' one by Vivid Imaginations), from a charity shop, I made it look like a real stable complete with litchen covered roof tils and a Swallow's nest on top! Make sure you clean the plastic with soapy water first to reduce greasy residue from the plastic, I painted mine with little tins of enamel, mine didn't need a primer.
One day I want to customise a Show Stable, but I need one first!

There was a contest here on the arena long ago where people made fantastic custom playsets!  For example I remember someone made a small castle playset for Spike.
Not sure if the pictures are still available though. Let me see if I can find anything.......

edit - Sorry, I can not find anything, not even the old thread... And the pictures are not in the gallery either.
Anyone else know what I'm talking about or have pictures from back then?

I loving the custom playsets! I have a very stained schoolhouse and a baity nursery that I have been keeping to do something with, just not sure what yet. i should trade them, really, I don't have the room.
