Custom Playsets

I wondered if anyone had ever made custom Playsets...this is something I have wanted to try out for the longest time but have not yet figured out how to do it.  Anyone?  Is this something that would be in demand?  Or is the prospect of shipping too intimidating?  Anyone have ideas or tips?

I have wanted to make an Observatory playset for a while now.

Well I had an idea on making my own mini pony library... but I have yet to make the mini building or the books...
I would say that for a personal project it might be fun and neat, but you have to remember how much things are going to cost to make it.

True...though I had intended to use recycled stuff as much as possible.  Hmm.  I might do this first one, see how it goes, and go from there.

It was supposed to be a secret, but oh well.

I am going to do a custom Dream Castle and a custom flower shop from two very, very, veeerrrrrryyyy beaten up DC and Show Stable that I got from Novavelle here on the arena... I just need to buy the supplies and start working on it, but now I need the money first and that my boyfriend finishes the guitar he is building, THEN I will start on those xD

I've seen a custom christmas dream castle and a pretty parlor candy shop.  I can't remember who did them but the candy shop had custom made decals and everything.  I've thought about doing additional rooms for my PE and a baby pony hospital out of a baity nursery, but have never gotten around to it.

 the base was a G3 lovely Locks Salon that I spary painted blue and then painted inb the details took days to paint but it was worth it I even glued/ decopaqued on some comic relatyed stuff on the floors and walls and found some mini figures for the shelves, the tables were found in goodwill and the mini comics I printed out my self
