Non-Pony garage sale finds. :) Awesome day today!!!

Non-gaming finds, but had an amazing day garage sale-ing.

First stop of the morning I found a complete Lionel train set with a metal engine, 6 cars, full set of tracks, a switch box, and a 5'x5' plastic play mat.  My dad collects Lionel trains and I got my first set when I was 6.  This set will be going to my boys.  =)  **$10**!!!  What a way to start the day.

Later I found a wooden clarinet for $10!  Picked it up to flip it.  Needs a replacement mouthpiece, but a great little starter set. ;-)

Also picked up my hubby around 10 Star Wars books for a few bucks so he can keep busy. 

Lastly I found a pair of brand new Uggs!!!  I asked how much and they said "Well...we've been pricing all our shoes for $1..." And I said I'd be willing to do $5 for them.  So...here are my new sheepskin boots! And I live in the desert.  >.<

Im actually glad the clarinet didn't come with the mouthpiece.  I played one in highschool--and would much prefer a brand new one to one someone else has used

A wooden clarinet for $10?! Geez, why did nothing like this pop up when my mom and I went to garage sales?

I don't recognize the brand, but if it's wooden and only for flipping $10, I wouldn't be too picky. xD

That clarinet is almost too good to be true!!!! What brand s it!??  I wonder if all it needs is new reeds or if it needs repairs! You should get it inspected! That would be an amazing find!!!!!!!

I ONCE *kicking myself over and over and over and OVER* found a MIYAZAWA piccolo at a pawn shop- it worked AMAZING and it was only $60! I walked out emptyhanded because I wanted to wait till payday..........T_______T

Wow, and I thought I was lucky to recently pick up a clarinet for $30! Mine needs a new mouthpiece, too, but those can be easily acquired online (and I think any used clarinet should probably have its mouthpiece replaced, anyway -- they can get super gross!).

Y'all finding extraordinarily cheap clarinets at garage sales, and I can't even find anything MLP related, much less instruments. *sigh* (scaling these by my interest, not relation to each other.)

Also had terrible luck finding MLP toys at local thrift shops. T.T

I cannot believe you found Uggs that cheap!  I showed my husband and I think he cried a little.  He got me Uggs this past Christmas and had to pay full price for them.  Great finds!

I felt horible that he only wanted a dollar!  I couldn't let him take that for them, that's why I offered more.Uggs have never been in my budget new, so this worked out well for me.
