I saw a Mia and Me DVD at Walmart today so maybe the toys will hit the US soon.

Ponyfan

I hope so. I could easily see this line being an TRU-only line. It was like that when the Puppy in my Pocket (the "pocketville" series) toys came over to the US a few years ago.
I just hope they dont charge more than $30 for the large ones.
Thank you so much for the adoptable, Corona! :D

Sorry for the delay. Here are some pictures, but the evening sun is not the best light... -_-

For size comparison a picture with little Rarity:

Onchao has very good wing joints:

Wind is even greater then Onchao. Size comparison:

The body is covered with glitter:

Lyria is very pink  but I like her more then Wind. Her pose is better and the hair is nicer.

The tails are not movable.

I think the eyedesign is not so nice.

Awww- thanks for posting pictures! I think they are really pretty-  I love their eyes a lot, and I love that they all have different poses and even body sizes! Maybe that explains the price difference.

I do hope they come to TRU...

huh, the way their tails look is kind of... unexpected?

other than that I think they look beautiful. I have just seen them IRL in a local shop yesterday, and inspected them a little. not something I can see myself collecting, but I do like them. they cost an ouchy $40 each even here, though I do know that shop where I have seen them often has overpriced toys (and sadly some toy lines only appear on their shelves within the country) >_<

They are very light and hollow. They are too expensive.

Thanks so much for the pictures!    They all look quite nice out of the box, and really like their attention to detail when it comes to Onchao being smaller than the others (since he is younger than them). Pretty neat that they did his wings like that.

In a local shop here in Germany they go for 32$. I would snap one for you but with shipping the price would be higher as in your store.

I agree with you, they are very light. But I think this is not lower quality. This is a children toy and the figures are very large, due to the lighter weight they are better to handle and play for children.
In addition, the import price would be even higher if they would be heavier because of higher shipping.

Yes the wings are cool!  I like them more than the wings from my dream beauty, because they are movable in all directions.

I keep my fingers crossed! ^.^

thank you for the kind offer! I really don't see myself collecting them though, so the price point is not my only issue with them (well, I don't actually have any "issue" with them, it's just that I don't need to own them in material form in this size ^^ ).

(it's funny how we can calculate how much approximately the import costs are for the stores themselves: the store that has them for the price I mentioned is Müller, which imports everything from you/Germany :) )

I really really like them-  their body shape is actually so much nicer than the standard mattel sculpt-  and their face shapes are so nice too-  I REALLY love the wing design- so much better than any other winged horse either Hasbro or Mattel have out there!

Wow, those are stunning! I've never considered collecting any other toys besides MLP, but that TLU one is calling my name. (And the star one. They're both so pretty.) It is a shame about their price, though; that's awfully high for me.

And I'm with Katika about the seam...the more visible it is, the less likely I'd want one of them on display. Really cool find, though! I hope some people find enough interest in them to splurge. :)

I would probably pay $30 for them, $44 is pushing it, but if it was clear that I would never get them any other way, and they would never be widely available (and thus cheaper) I might get just one...  (of course by then it will probably be too late, lol)

These are great!
I had no idea these existed, and now I SUPER want the star one! And...well all of them. That they're so expensive is just so disappointing. I've never seen a unicorn toy before with the "mythical lion tail" that the unicorn of legend is supposed to have. I am glad they skipped the mythical beard, though. I love the different poses and horns and designs too. I'm with everyone wishing it over or less expensive! Gosh, I just can't see paying 50 for any of them like that...
