the bluish white is currently sold here for a price that converts to a little under $20, and I'd be happy to help anyone wanting one out, but I'm afraid with shipping the price would come out closer to $40 than 30, so that might be not too much of a help :(

there are also some Mini Unicorns sold of these for under $10, they are said to be approx. 15 cms, but I don't know if that's the height or the length of the body...

Are the Amazon sellers third party sellers? Because at those prices it almost seems like they imported them from Europe.

These are meant for kids.

Someone needs to get their head out of the clouds--though, I guess that will happen when nothing sells because their plastic isn't worth its weight in gold.

Shame, they are pretty.  But you can tell even the quality isn't there.

If im spending $50 it better be a collectable in special packaging with pristine quality.

I think 15cm refers to the length, rather than the height. If I remember correctly, they're rather small... and sadly, rather cheap-looking, compared to the larger ones.

And yes, they're marketed as children's toys, not collectables.

That rainbow one is cute! But his price seems more suitable for the big ones  :satisfied:

Are the Amazon sellers third party sellers? Because at those prices it almost seems like they imported them from Europe.

Yes I think they are all third party sellers-  the hard plastic unicorn toys are not offered in the US yet (possibly never at this rate).

I was hoping that if they did well in Germany and the UK and such, that the US might get them, and maybe the price would go down.  But I can't see these things selling well anywhere at the prices they are at. The pricing really is quite inexplicable-   Breyer pricing but definitely not the same in terms of quality and detail, and again-

Mattel makes these not some small toy company- so it really is totally inexplicable to me that they would cost so much.  A Barbie + Barbie Unicorn "combo" pack costs $27 at Target.  http://www.target.com/p/barbie-princess-doll-and-regal-unicorn/-/A-15099414#prodSlot=medium_1_1&term=barbie+unicorn

Yes, the Barbie unicorn looks like hell- but that seems to be a problem with stylistic choices, not necessarily quality...

I can show owner pictures If you like to see others then the promos.
I was very pleased to the release of the Starunicorn, but  in the stores it did not looks quite as good.

Yes, please share pics of yours TwinkleEye!! I would love to see them. :)

I definitely would like to have Wind, but not for $50. Hopefully they'll go down in price soon and be more readily available?

yes, please! Out of the unicorns, I really want one of Onchao (he is my favorite from the series, hehe!) and would love to see how he looks in person.  :)

I got the rainbow haired one, Flair, of course she is pretty but for the price I admit it is really high compared to quality!! the legs are not empty but have wide holes, it is really fine plastic, the hair are cute but not really well done (a big hole between the beginning of the head and the beginning of the mane  ) and the tail is ridiculous.

Ok I admit I still love her as it is my little sister who bought it to me  ^.^, so I got sentimental feeling about it  but I really prefer G4 unicorn (little or FS) which are sold now.

sorry hope my comment will annoy nobody but I prefer to tell you the "truth" about them as the price, I repeat is high.

it's so saddening that they are so low quality :( I mean, I know these are sold as children's toys, but that doesn't explain cheap, not sturdy plastic - I wonder how easy they are to break during regular children's play :wonder: at least we never had to fear this when playing with ponies.

they're pretty, but they're not Dream Beauty quality.  And at $40 to $50 a pop.. pft, I'd rather but a baity mountain boy and restore it.

I don't think the big ones are super low quality- just the little ones.

They are very expensive though, inexplicably so.  Add international shipping and they are not affordable in the US.  If I ever see them on The Entertainer's site though or anywhere else for any kind of discount- I really do want to get one or two-  I do love their design and colors, I think they are gorgeous and love that they look like the Last Unicorn (there is a sad derth of real Last Unicorn toys after all- and I think the Wind unicorn looks pretty identical...)
