The unicorn toys are drifting onto Amazon.com and ebay finally-  they are sooooooooooo pretty, but still so expensive.  I really don't get why they are so pricey considering that they are made by Mattel.  I would get them in a heartbeat if they were $18 and not $45-50!

But still, I do love them, especially the wind unicorn (who looks SO MUCH like the Last Unicorn)

But they are a bit too expensive to be tempting.  I hope that some cheap one show up one day!

I want the Last Unicorn looking one badly.  I'm hoping the price will come down soon.  Even if they are really good quality or whatever, $50 just seems too high for them.

I saw those on my last visit to Germany and was really tempted because they're so pretty. They're so expensive, though, even when you buy them in Germany.

I'd be all over that Last Unicorn one if it wasn't so expensive. Though I am glad to see them finally make it to the US so maybe I'll be able to get one down the road.

I've seen these ones in toy stores - never checked the price but I think they look a bit worse in real life.
And there are some small ones (a bit larger than a playful size G4) with other designs, including a rainbow unicorn and one that looks like Pinkie Pie.

*gasp* That is so expensive! What a shame! I've been wanting these, too, but... probably not now. I'll be trying to find a deal on them, I guess. I love that they have "real" unicorn tails.

Their eyes seem a bit off to me, but otherwise I really love them. Don't love that price tag, though. :c

To be honest, I think the prettiest one is the Star Unicorn. But yeah... they are really expensive (30-35 euros here)

How obvious the seam is in the close up shot (and that's even on the "perfect" promo shot!) is what seals the "too expensive" deal for me.  I'm a bit out of the loops on these girls; are they actively being marketed as kids' toys or collectibles?  I find it very hard to believe the line will do well at this price if they're supposed to be toys :-/
