[Tink-A-Tink-A-Too]

Hi (: I'm Meg.
I got my first pony, Shenanigans, in 2004. I saved up tickets at an arcade to win her xD Soon followed Tink-A-Tink-A-Too (hence my username) and about twenty other ponies!
I think MLP is wonderful because my mom was a fan of Gen 1 as a kid, so we share a love of MLP even though we grew up playing with different ponies and seeing different movies. After a few years I thought I outgrew my ponies so I gave them all to a friend who was a toy collector who also collected ponies, so at least they were in good hands =w= (I haven't had contact with her in years though so I can only hope they're still being taken care of. . .). I got back into MLP when Gen 4 came out but Gen 3 will always be my first and favourite MLP love, with Gen 1 next because I grew up with a bit of it too, and then Gen 2 and Gen 3.5 just because I haven't given them enough attention yet ;-;. Besides Tink and Shenanigans my other favourite pony is Fizzy from Gen 1, I just think she's so cute!
Since most of my collection isn't mine anymore, I just have a random assortment of stuff.  . . A Parasol plush (that was my mom's in the 80's!), a Starcatcher pillow and a Pinkie Pie pillow (I made them both myself!), a Triple Treat ornament, a few of those tiny Gen 4 figures, some Gen 4 colouring books/posters, A few Gen 3 DVD's, and a ton of Gen 3/3.5/4 stickers. In the future I hope to be able to re-collect all the ponies I had as a kid and get my favourite ponies from now. I won't be able to trade or sell for probably a good long while but until then I am sure I will enjoy seeing everyone else's ponies! (:

What an interesting introduction. It's nice you inherited your mother's love for ponies, even if you grew up with different generations.  Your toy collecting friend sounds great. I wonder if she/he is a member here too?

Thats amazing that you can share your interest in MLP with your mum G3s are certainly one of the prettiest generations and so much variety in the characters.

Welcome to the Arena. Shenanigans and Tink are not too find hard to find, if you go to thrift stores or yard sales you might even be able to snag em.  You can always ask for ponies for holidays too, you are never too old to get ponies as presents.
