I'm still wallowing in student debt, but I do make my payments every month.  I'm applying for part-time jobs in hopes of paying some more of it off.

I've really knocked chunks of it away but it won't be paid off any day soon

Super major congrats dear friend! I need to message you soon. I just got my car paid off and I am trying to pay off two credit cards and a hospital bill. I will be paid off by the end of the year and be debt free too!

Congratulations!!! That is a great accomplishment and you really deserve a pony or two .

I've never really been in any debt exept my student loan which is down to like 5000$. They take the payment automatically from my bank account every month and I hardly ever notice it. Everything else I have I've saved up to.

Congratulations... We still have a long way to go but there is light at the end of the tunnel, I am sure of it! Got student loans and the hospital bills just keep piling up

Way to go!! That must feel awesome   I'm getting better with money. Last year I set a realistic budget and a plan to pay it all off. I've done pretty well so far. Can't wait for it all to be paid!

It is an AWESOME feeling Congrats !!!
 I was about to get into debt building a huge house that was going to kept me working for another 20 or 30 years ,who knows...
Anyway ,I had the choice to pay off my  current loan and or refinance and take out even more to a lower interest .
I have always dreamed with a huge new house but I had as well dreamed about being debt free
and I choose the second one I thought if I can save later and build it without a loan ,it will be double the joy .

Stay away from debt  people  
Debt is the modern way of slavery , brake free and never sell your self ever again
