Debt-free!!! Finally!

I’m so excited and relieved, I could dance!! For the first time in 7 or 8 years, I am now absolutely 100 % debtfree! Today I paid off my final one!
Sooooooooooo happy!!! It hasn't been easy, worrying if the next instalment was manageable or not. It’s a mistake learnt …. The hard way. It won’t happen again.
I’m pretty proud of myself at the moment.

That is the best feeling in the world! I know how you feel. I was so happy when I got my two cars paid off a few years back and then this spring I got my CC paid off! I am totally out of debt but my house.
I know how stressful and hard it is to get out of debt. Its funny cause its so easy to get into debt! Its kind of losing and gaining weight!

I am working on right now trying to save up some money in my savings account. When I get the amount that I want to have I am going to be putting more on my house then every month! I sure hope that it all works out like that.

Sometimes we have to learn the hard way. I did the same thing also and got way over my head. My mom was there to help me. Never again for this girl also!

The best way to stay out of debt is to not buy anything that you cant afford in cash or not able to pay off in the next month on a CC. This world teaches us that things will make us happy. Yes things so make up happy but they do not make us happy for long. After that newness wears off we are hunting for the next thing. Its a horrible circle that does not end and can get a person in lots of debt.  I do not buy anything that I cant afford and I am happy to say that at the age of 29 I have had my house for 9 years and working my way to get it paid off. I have a car that has been paid off for 4 years now and have no CC debt. I am able to put money away in savings and able to go on vacation this year. I am able to do all of this cause I don't buy things that I don't need.

Sorry I could go on and on about this topic. This is one of my favorite topics out there. And Minimalism.

WOW!! major applause to you, honeycomb! That is truly incredible.

I'm still trying to save money to file bankruptcy (oxymoron, right? Lol). I was a dumb teen and maxed my credit cards after I bought a house. Once I had my daughter, I lost my job, and then had to foreclose on my house. It has been an extremely hard several years. I have so much respect for those who can keep themselves to a budget, and take care of themselves financially.
