My friend reports that they sold out within the first hour at Bronycon. :( Boooo!

But did they bring the remainder of their stock or only some?

It's while supplies last, but they KNOW there's a high demand, so I'm sure they're taking that into consideration.

Looking at the prices these figures are going for on Ebay, its really stupid for Welovefine not to have them up for sale on their website, without any extra purchase gimmicks. I guess they just don't like making money and would rather let other people profit off of their work (resellers).

I have no idea. :( Maybe the WLF site will provide more details soon?

I sure hope so. :D No sense rushing to the WLF booth at NYCC if they already sold out lol.

In regards to selling the figure for a high price on their site instead of with incentives at conventions, I believe it must have something to do with a licensing agreement with Hasbro for sure.

Gotta love these companies that seem to be in the business not to make money. Make something that is in demand and severely limit the ability to get it? Makes sense to me! Reminds me of another company that could be raking in the dough if they would get off their hineys and recognize a certain anniversary of a popular toy! Are these companies run by dingdongs or something?

From what i gathered they are still testing things out. They also said that Hasbro only allows these figures to be sold as a "bundle" with other Welovefine products.

According to the customer service rep that emailed me, they were going to take their entire stock to BronyCon.  But reading some of the comments on the website page by WLF reps, I think there's hope!

we can only bring 150 to each show, we make them in limited quantities. Want to make sure you get one!
(although with as many cons as they've announced, that's going to be way more than the limited 600 that were made)

I think our main shortcoming was putting a convention only item on the site. We always have convention only items, going forward we wont tease people with them, so sorry! We plan to have D***y on the site but a different one in the future.

Thread resurrection time! Apparently, some additional waves of the "Snuggle Muffin" figurine will be made available on the WeLoveFine website. As we saw with the convention releases, you will have to buy an MLP item, then buy the figurine for $20. Check it out!

I tried to order one this evening but wasn't able to. I could make a qualifying order, but I couldn't add the figure to my cart! I emailed their support and they said that it was out of stock for now, but that they would probably have more for sale tomorrow.

Before they got back to me, however, I happened to try the order again and it went through with the special Snuggle Muffin figurine! It looks like I had caught one of these restocks. I'm excited!
