Ah, thanks. I can usually figure out most acronyms, even if I'm not familiar with them, but I got stuck on that one.

Pony Corral / Re: How rare are FF Ponies?« on: October 25, 2015, 05:18:06 PM »
Nice to know that about Minty, since I have a FF version of her, although her forelock has been cut. She was the first FF I got, back before I knew there was a difference. Now I'm working on getting a whole set of FF ponies. I just bought a FF Blossom (to replace my CF Blossom), with original comb and ribbon. I'm excited for her to arrive!!

Pony Corral / How rare are FF Ponies?« on: October 25, 2015, 03:30:33 PM »
I know they aren't super-uncommon, but I was just wondering. A little harder to find than CF collector's pose, right?
Also, is there a FF Lemon Drop? 604

Price Check Archives / Re: PC: Starshine« on: October 25, 2015, 12:53:43 PM »$7-8 - I would not pay any more than that (and I would prefer to be $6). She is popular but one of the more common ponies. Be careful you are not judging price by BIN prices as they do tend to be higher than a pony would normally sell for. What are BIN prices? 608
Pony Corral / G3 Car« on: October 25, 2015, 11:49:00 AM »
I saw a Pony car (one that you pull back and let go) at a thrift store the other day. Since I don't collect G3, I didn't get it, but I was wondering what those are worth.
Anyone have any ideas? 609
Pony Corral / Re: POTD 10/23/2015 Cool Breeze« on: October 24, 2015, 01:16:25 PM »
My best friends (sisters who lived down the street from me) had her. I spent hours playing Ponies (and Barbies and Fashion Star Fillies) at their house. So Cool Breeze is inextricably linked to those happy memories.

I read through the whole thread on the Firefly one (yes, all 39 pages) since I wasn't a member of the Arena when that came out. After that, I'm quite leery of this one. I'll be interested to see how Glory actually looks when someone gets one.

Thanks, everyone.
I actually did get them by mail order--the price plus however many horseshoe points were required. I did a few of those. I always saved the horseshoe points from my new Ponies so I could try to order some other ones. 615
Pony Corral / Restored or flaws?« on: October 19, 2015, 03:48:56 PM »
I'm just curious: Would you rather have an original pony with flaws (e.g. rubbed glitter symbols, missing some hair, maybe a mark or two) or a restored one?
I'm not a hard-core, must-have-mint-condition collector, so I don't mind a few imperfections. And I'm currently enjoying re-glittering some of my childhood friends who have lost some of their shine. I'm loving how bright they are again. How do you see it, though? Is it better to have "unretouched" Ponies, in your opinion? |
