Thanks everyone for your input. I remembered the ponytail versions were considered more sought after...

For Sale - For Auction / FS/FT: Kiss'n Make Up, Rinse & Spit ++
« on: September 21, 2014, 12:52:23 AM »
I'm located in Finland and take Paypal in EUROS or bank transfer in the Euro area. Please inspect all photos carefully and ask questions before buying. I'm responsible for my mistakes but not for your changes of heart. I'm open to trade offers, but reserve the right to say no.

To give an example, economy shipping of 2 adult ponies in a bubble envelope (up to 250g) to Europe/US costs 5,80/9,00 €, tracked shipping 9,40/12,70 €. I'll happily ship economy to established members with some kind of feedback, but at the buyer's own risk. I'm not responsible for lost or damaged economy mail.

All sizes of all photos + some misc. stuff I'm too lazy to list can be viewed in my sales album https://www.flickr.com/photos/multaa/sets/72157636315653193/

Pony Corral / Playset petite variants

Just a simple question: are the playset petites with real hair any more or less rare/expensive than their molded tail counterparts?

Glad you like everything! BTW I nicknamed the baby ballerina pony, Baby two-left feet. LOL!

Wow, that would be me in ballet lesson...

Such amazing boxes! My jaw keeps dropping at this thread.

Cass, I'm so happy you enjoyed your box  I had some great fun making and searching for the perfect gifts for you!

My weekend's been a bit busy with various people staying over for various reasons, which is why I guesstimated I'd perhaps have to postpone opening my box till Monday, but I managed to dig into it today with one of my guests. And what a great MLP birthday it was, thanks to Saja!

Here are my goodies, including not one but two set completers – Twinkle Dancer and Friendly the Bushwoolie –, Newborn Squirmaloo and the elusive Love Petal :faint: I wasn't really expecting to receive her in a swap box, but it looks like I did! The watercolor pencils are a great extra because my previous set has been reduced to little more than stubs. I wonder if Saja has some psychic abilities. Finally, look at the Lemon Drop tote she made.

Eep! The packed lunch has arrived! Mirnyj - I'm glad it was to your taste, even though it might have summoned the rain... I originally meant to make a more "picnicky" illustration, but those teenagers just happened.

I, too, received my box from the darling Rhubarbpie. Thank you so much for the great gifts  Prepare your prescription sunglasses!

Rhubarbpie sent me an itty bitty High Flyer, Dancing Flutterbutteries, Posey and a very curly and pink Flower freaking Bouquet :faint: Her hair looks a little washed out in the photo but is actually nice and bright. In addition to her brush, Flower Bouquet the electrician came with her backcard story in which she fixes the fairground lights, while the flower pick belongs to High Flyer. I did Dancing Flutterbies' hair as she no longer has her curls.

As extras, Rhubarbpie sent a picture book of her hometown with her personal notes and some great chocolate. The other bar has sweetened cranberries in it.

Finally, let's take a moment to appreciate the subtle beauty of a pale pink Posey with a yellow ribbon, also included in the box. She's probably the best thing since Lemon Drop. ;)

MLP Nirvana / Re: Pc snuzzle drop

I've been out of the loop for a while, but with bright pink hair she was around $100 the last time I checked. There's one that has been hanging around unsold for a good while, though, so I'm not exactly sure how the market for Italian Snuzzledrop is at the moment.

I must have told this story a million times over, but Galaxy was my childhood favourite in the animated series. However, I never owned the toy, partially for the obvious reason that (to my knowing) TEs were never sold in Finland. As a result, my trusty DnP Player played the part of "Galaksi."

To this day, I have not owned a standard Galaxy. Last year, I paid 3 € for a Spanish one (!) whom I sold. For a nirvana I don't really care much about, she was just too valuable to keep. I eventually want a standard one but seemingly never get across to buying (you know, "there will always be another one").

Pony Corral / Re: "G1.5" ...?
« on: July 10, 2014, 12:54:49 PM »
I wonder what these very first commercials should be called? G0.5? (And if that is the case, where does My Pretty Pony stand?)

*sidles out of thread*

They would be called G1, just look at the style of the /TOY/- not the cartoon characters. As for My Pretty Pony they were the debut before My Little Pony became a thing, so I'm not sure they actually fall into a gen so much as stand as a predecessor (but if someone knows for sure, PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong!)

Sadly, the irony of my question seems to have been wasted  :relaxed:

Do you think this finding will increase White Bluebelle's value, since now she can be called a true variant and not just from plasticizer/color leakage?

Plastic degradation unfortunately happens in unopened packages as well, in fact it is debatable whether being confined in a closed space speeds up the process. Nonetheless she's an utterly cool find!

I'm afraid I'm of no avail as regards the lily pond, but I'm enjoying your illustrations.

Bookmarked ;) Have you considered tumblr? That's where the rest of the world seems to be these days. Also, I hope you feel better soon.

I'm happy to see you're Doing Things, I don't think I've seen any of your work before. Along with the inspiration from nature, the pottery reminds me a little of the Japanese aesthetic of imperfection.

Thanks everyone! Yes, I'm thrilled (and a little dumbfounded, to be honest) to be in this project with quite a few somewhat famous names from the Finnish self-publishing scene. I'm not famous but apparently good enough, plus the theme is right up my alley.
