Too bad they cover up her cutie mark. I'm surprised they chose a color scheme so similar to Sunset Shimmer's for the new antagonist. I mean she is different but still mostly orange... I'd like to see the 2 background girls as ponies and am kinda hoping they will do like they did with Sunset Shimmer last year and release these as pony singles eventually. I would like to see Photo Finish's 2 companions as ponies too.

Maybe she doesn't have one.... and is forever a CMC!!

What a cute idea! I love the thought of ponies on holiday!

I can't see the photos after the hotel bed one, but I love the caption that's just signed "pony" lol

What a cool Dad you must have!

**edit** I see all photos.... RD writing! And eating a doughnut!!!

Can't wait for more!

I have some. I plan to get one of each. I don't have one of each yet though.

This! Except I do have one of each available to me in the UK. Two twilight if you consider that I have the one with the pony and the Sunset Shimmer one.

They are still in the boxes though, and I don't think they will ever come out now ^.^

Pony Corral / Re: Wrong time, wrong place for pony merch?
« on: February 27, 2014, 09:06:39 AM »
I currently regret almost everything I buy, but that is more because I suffer from anxiety so it gets me like, every time  :P :drunk:

That said, I haven't had anything I've really wished I'd never bought. For example most recently I bought both My Pretty Ponies, on an impulse, because no one else had bid, and it was only a slight detour on my way back to uni to pick them up. I wasn't excited, pleased, or anything when I won them , but once I opened them I was so glad to have such an iconic part of MLP heritage that I'm so glad I bid!

Pony Corral / Re: There are so many G3 poses!
« on: February 27, 2014, 07:52:11 AM »
I chose diva pose and diva pose only ^_^ Mainly coz I don't really care about the pose, but I know that I love diva pose, so there was no sense in choosing three.

But my question is, why does diva pose have to include use on expensive ponies, how will I ever own them all?! >.<

This isn't a helpful comment, buuuuttt....

If someone has done it for one it could be possible for all, so my lil couple could say "i love you" once more.... that's be cute :lovey:

On a side note, I won a G2 that said no longer worked, and it did!!!! I was well chuffed

Thanks for responding :)

She has responded, but we are not able to reach an agreement on how to proceed.

So I have to wait for the 8 days in this situation before I can escalate right? Or can I still do it earlier?

56
Hi all,

I won't go into details as it is not really relevant, but I think people can still help me  :)

I'm in an open case (I am the buyer) on a non-pony item. It is only the second day of the case being open and we seem to be heading towards an impasse.

Ebay cases are escalated after 8 days correct? My question is, what happens during those 8 days until that point if I stop replying as messages are no longer working to resolve the situation. Will it look negative on me that I haven't been responding? Or is it okay to go "this isn't working" and wait until the escalation day?

Thanks ^.^

I am well into G2s at the moment
These are the only ones I have with me while I'm living away, sorry they aren't the best photos  I have maybe.... 20 more at home? Have to double check when I go home for a visit next week! Plus I just got the Collectors Inventory so I need to check them off!

Alas her card is kinda falling off from the plastic ties holding it to the bag. I'm tempted to just de-card fully.

For Trade / G3 Styling Rarity and Cheerilee MIB like for like trade
« on: February 11, 2014, 12:00:13 PM »
Now, this is a bit of an off chance, and this will only be on offer for a short period of time because once I  get home and see them they are coming right out of those boxes

I have just got Styling Rarity (with bonus extra accessories) and Styling Cheerilee both MIB, Cheerilee has a slight dent in the front but not really bad or noticeable.

If anyone has these loose, with *all* the accessories (so that means the Rarity with the bonus extras) then I would be willing to work out a trade for the MIB ones and maybe one or two extras to cover the MIB/loose difference.

I'm not at home with these items right now, but I will be in 5 days and then I *will* be opening them, so this is very much a short term offer. I just can't resist leaving them in the boxes :good: so if i hear nothing between now and then I'll empty the thread

So, if this sounds like something you can do, feel free to message me.
Please DON'T message me with any other trade offer, or offering to buy, as I am not interested I'm afraid  ^.^

Thanks

Just out of interest.... is the the MO US one or the Aus/NZ one (even though they are essentially the same I just wonder :))?

I paid £120 (excluding shipping) for mine from America, with her original box and piece of paper/letter from Hasbro to confirm she was the MO one (though the cats have now ruined the box  >_< but then that's why I have her protected in it so no real loss to me  :P)

edit: Duh! I should have said that was October 2012 ^_^

2nd edit : Also.... it was BIN/OBO and that was my OBO about.... £50 or so off the asking price.

Pony Corral / Re: "Bronies"documentary on Netflix...
« on: January 22, 2014, 02:00:01 PM »
I liked it. I wasn't hoping to see women talk about their fandom, I wasn't watching to see a wide representation of the general public and their pony love, I watched out of interest.

I enjoyed the stories of those involved, I liked the interviews with various people of note. I just enjoyed it for what it was.

I wouldn't watch it again soon, but then I wouldn't watch many documentaries again in a hurry as for me documentaries aren't repeat viewing types of show.

I don't mind it. I don't consider myself a brony and I don't really care for the fandom, but since the documentary is ABOUT bronies, not ALL MLP fans, I don't know why some folks are getting so huffy that other gens weren't included. Yes, it was annoying how in the beginning the previous gens were picked on, but that's pretty much it and otherwise the video stuck to FiM and the events surrounding this particular show.

The video showed how there were definitely some parents who didn't "get" it, and even though there were a lot of males featured I certainly saw some girls too, including the one who was interviewed. Given that the brony fandom IS mostly males, I don't see how there being more of them in the video was weird (plus I like how in the little cartoon the girls still stuck up for themselves to make a point that they were just as much a part of the fandom as boys were, even if there's less of them who consider themselves bronies). I like how the video showed how creative many bronies are, I thought the guy who worked with lasers was pretty interesting since I've never seen anything like that before, and the music it features was pretty neat as well.

Was it sensationalized? Maybe a little, but pretty much every documentary under the sun is. Big surprise. Overall, I liked how a common theme seemed to generally be that the fandom has given a place for people to go to where they feel accepted. That's what it all boils down to. And that's never a bad thing.
